Dutch Sauna
 

I’ll be in Amsterdam in about a month.


Is there any recommendation for saunas? Or is
zuiver and Deco the best ones still? Thank you

Zuiver and Deco are for sure nice place.

Recently, I had a good day at sauna in Weesp (20mins from Amsterdam).

It is midsize one. (but similar size with Zuiver).


It has two advanges that I really like.

1. Intimate Showerroom.
It has all conditions to be best showerrooms.
Only one in the facility !
Very Bright all the time !
Relatively Small size !
Tight Distance between showers !
It has scrub basin !

2. Bright Saunaroom.
5 out of 6 saunas have large size window to outside. (panorama saunas).

Saunas in Copenhagen or Sweden Nude too?
 

I enjoyed reading about the fun Dutch and German spas can bring in this tread but I don't have any occasion to be there anytime soon.

I am however, thinking about a visit to both Copenhagen Denmark as well as parts of Sweden. Does anyone have any stories of mixed nude saunas in those 2 countries? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Neither Denmark or Sweden have spas with the size and quality (or nudity) that you find in The Netherlands and Germany (and some other countries). There are smaller places, but cannot be compared.

But Copenhagen is not that far from Germany, so a day trip to Germany is possible.

It's a different setup in Denmark and Sweden. Smaller places and usually gender segregated, but often there's one day a week or per month that is mixed. leads to some good ENF situations when ladies turn up on the wrong day without knowing. But in smaller places you're more likely to stick out as a creep if you're going there mainly to look. Some places won't let you in on your own if it's mixed day. I always go with female company.

I've seen some great stuff in Sweden and Denmark and I'm sure you can too.

Thank you Wellness and Laylak for your informative responses. I have to admit I'm a tad more than disappointed by your response though. I was really hoping one of those countries will be similar to the Dutch & German experience.

My goal is less to see naked ladies and more to have a legitimate reason for my wife to be naked and in the company of other men looking at her. She's shy so I was hoping going to a spa would provide the cover for her to be naked in mixed company for a good reason.

I was hoping to have great stories to share here on OCC! :)

Yes, there are plenty of opportunities to be naked on the beach close to Copenhagen. Danmark has very liberated laws and I you can be nude on any beach, but I will recommend going to a beach dedicated to Naturism. Bellevue (nude in Northern part) is the most famous beach in Copenhagen, easily accessible with S-train. Very crowded on beautiful summer days, but interesting:)

Sweden have also many Naturist beaches, but Swedish law is stricter than Danish law.

The only place in Scandinavia where there is a spa simular to a Dutch or German spa is in Oslo Norway (google "Scandinavia’s largest spa and bath house"). I don't know if it worth visiting, so check Tripadvisor and other reviews.

I guess you are referring to 'The Well' in Oslo. Nothing like the Netherlands, swimwear is permitted in the pools and many wear covering towels in the saunas, but you'll see some pussy in the showers. In theory the same as a German sauna, but the locals don't quite cooperate. Might change with time, the general culture is quite similar in Norway and Holland.

Thank you for the info. It certainly sounds like I need to plan a trip to Amsterdam or Germany...I was hoping Danmark and Sweden were the same. Good to know now vs being disappointed when I get there!

I have heard that the area called West Sweden is a bit more liberal as it's a nature paradise. Any one has any experience or suggestions there?
