Dang, it seems like the July ride was pretty amazing. It's shame we don't have more pics. Let's hope we get some more footage from the August ride.

Vancouver is having a second ride this summer on August 14.

A reminder for those with good cameras, London WNBR is this Saturday and Brighton WNBR is on Sunday!

The weather forecast looks great (London 23C and sunny, Brighton 20C and sunny), so turnout might be good, difficult to know what will happen, after two years away, due to 'you know what'!

Restrictions are now minimal in England, so lets hope for a good coverage of whatever happens, I'm so missing these big events of the past ten years or so.

I was 50/50 about going to Brighton because it's quite a distance for me and in past years I have stopped going. The woman organising the ride this year is even more man hating. The reason for getting rid of the second rest stop is to reduce infections (yeah, right) but to mainly protect the noncismales (basically anyone who isn't a straight man) from the 'perverts'.

IMHO they have thrown out the baby with the bath water. No Phantom Limbs band, no frolicking in the fountain, no cafe, no rest. It's proving unpopular with quite a few of the riders.

This year I won't go.

Well if they are trying to improve the gender ratio I think you just showed that the are succeeding.
