I'm loving your stuff, but I gotta ask if you have any good pictures of my favorite Fremont rider of all time. Thanks!

more pics of her here - I think we pretty much got all of the known ones out.

Well..we are 6 months away...Lot can happen in that time...Do you think getting early knowledge of the painting party will be possible?..dude I'm so into this I will make a dry run to the location

Two years in a row they have held it at the Old Ballard Library (NW 57th and 24th) in the Ballard section of Seattle.
See below. Painting is inside the library. Girls exit at upper arrow, assemble in the parking lot (get on their bikes), and then everyone rides out of the lot (lower arrows).

The lot is small - too small to hold over 500 riders. I don't know where the rest come from. There is some spillover into the streets, or people wait inside or on the sidewalk along 24th.

The solstice cyclist website (hxxp://www.solsticecyclist.org) will have info on the location of this years party, but
it probably won't get posted until April or May.

I just bookmarked the site...will be following throughout the months ahead....I like that one sentence" please move outside after being painted to make room for others"..Right now I'm thinking I need to get there early shoot what I can then haul ass to freemont...I have to figure out a plan to do all that...As long as it remains at the library..we need a sunny 70+ degree day..rare in June I know but possible...where is global warming when you need it...lol

Good luck. we do need some warmer, sunnier weather.

If you have a friend with a cell phone, you could ask him to stand at the start point along leary and tell you when the bikers pass him. That will tell you how much time you have to get to Gasworks, because at that point, riders will move quickly and predictably along the route. You can't do anything to stall them at any point, but information can be useful. Its not enough to know that the parade "starts" at 12 noon or whatever you read on the web. Bikers can jump the gun. So having eyes there helps..

with mobile devices, your task could be made a lot easier..

irishboy2525 these are absolutely incredible shots. Thank you for taking the time to share them. If you have the chance, did you catch the unicycle girl in red or the woman with the long blond hair and a silvery painted on one-piece? I know vague descriptions but I don't want to post outside pictures on your post. Thanks again and please, by all means, FLOOD this thread!!!!
