I'm no art expert by any means but I do enjoy art, especially erotic art. In keeping with the theme of this thread I'm just sharing erotic paintings I've come across which I enjoy and/or find interesting giving due credit to the artists who painted them. And since I enjoy OCC but don't myself collect porn ( besides my wife, that is ) it's my small way of contributing to this site. :)

Orientalism, especially pictures of the slave market, was a favourite of those dirty minded Victorians - and still raises the issue of race and sex.

This next entry is from Russian-Canadian artist Marina Bychkova. These porcelain dolls are hand crafted and painted by Ms Bychkova. She calls them Enchanted Dolls. They are quite exquisite and though not paintings per se they most certainly qualify as erotic works of art.

A popular source of inspiration for artists throughout the years is the the story of Leda and the swan from Greek mythology. According to the story Leda was the wife of Tyndareus, king of Sparta. Apparently one day she was relaxing naked in the grass when a raven overhead spotted her and started squawking loudly. Zeus was passing close by and upon hearing all the noise went to investigate. When he saw Leda he was immediately taken by her great beauty and had to have her. Fearing he may frighten Leda with his shining image he took the form of a swan and seduced her.

Or something like that.
