Part 3 of 3. Some of these appear to be from the post-ride, where supposedly nudity was forbidden. It appears these two girls got by on a technicality. In years past, participants were allowed to hang out and party naked in the plaza, which is technically private property. But apparently the property changed hands, and the owners required everyone be clothed to enter. That's bad news for us, as some of the best photos from years past took place in the plaza.

For what it's worth:

What provided that exceptional opportunity to pick and choose great street shots at the start of the ride, was the fact that the organizers moved the riders into the street and then held them in place for 15 or twenty minutes. Because the street is divided with opposite directions on two levels, the riders had to come out of the park and go right for about a block before reaching a traffic light and making a left turn to go in their intended southbound direction on the upper level. In some of the pictures you can see riders in the background climbing the divider to avoid the wait. I did see a number of nude female riders making that climb, and so the photogs on the lower level missed them completely. :eek:
