Unfortunately, they're in .cbcx format (my Comic Book Maker program is on the fritz, and I was unable to turn the files into a more accessable PDF format), so it may not open at all.

If anyone has an idea how to turn .cbcx files into something more readable, please let me know.

Joe.

Joe, try http://www.downloadatoz.com/file-ext...converter.html

Rename to zip / rar, unpack, voila - jpgs! :)

right click and open with winrar, thats all. You don't have to rename it at all.

Perhaps I should explain the problem in greater detail.

A couple years back, I bought PlanetWideGame's Comic Book Creator 2, which I used to upload most of my older stuff to Rapidshare. At the time, the program had the ability to turn .cbcx files, which was what happened when you uploaded jpegs into the program, into PDF files.

Well, this past November my computer crashed, and I lost everything!! The past few months I've been slowly reintroducing the programs and files I lost in the crash, including Comic Book Creator2. Unfortunately, CBC2 no longer works on my computer, and, to my dismay, I found that PlanetWideGames has discontinued the program and no longer offers any sort of support.

I was able to download an earlier version of CBC, but it only works in demo mode, meaning I'm unable to transform .cbcx files into PDF. And going to the Adobe website is a waste of time because .cbcx is the one file they (or any other PDF writer programs) do not support.:mad::mad:

So, that's the issue as it stands. I apologize to those folks who downloaded the file and was unable to open it. I also want to thank everyone for their help and suggestions, but I've seemed to have hit a brick wall in this regard.

Joe.

This tip doesn't work for me - I am using Linux Mint.

Have you exhausted all the open source options?

I'm afraid so.

So no one else has any trouble, I'm deleting it from Rapidshare. I'll just have to find another way to upload the files instead.

Many thanx to those of you who offered their solutions and support.

Joe.
