Le Glamour - Mousse

Has anybody been in the Mousse Party this year? I think that Le Glamour has made some changes in the Mousse area. Details will be appreciated.

The old building has been demolished and part of the site has been developed. There is a large jacuzzi with beds and seating area. The foam part is in a part of the site off the bar / seating area. All very new and the toilets and showers are much improved but we just felt it lacked some of that edginess that the original model offered.

Mousse Party has been moved to a place near the sea, closer to Bd des Matelots. I think that the one side of the structure almost touches the Heliopolis building. You can find it to Google Earth but the aerial photo is before the formation to Mousse glamour place. Inside there is a above ground pool (dimensions aprox. 8m X 3m X 1m deep) with jacuzzi bubbles. You can't swim at this pool but you can seat and play inside. There are built in benches. I can estimate that about 30-40 persons can seat at these benches and communicate each other. Around this pool and more higher than the pool there is the lounge area with few large sofa beds with mattresses (8-10) for couples and more ;) but all was with reserved signs.:mad: At the same level with the pool around the walls there is a large continuous bench to put your towel. A litlle more lower there are some large benches with small mattresses. There is the bar area too. About 10m away is a separate area, with walls around, like a room 5m x 10m with 3 walls, whithout ceilling, where is the mousse (foam) party area. About 50 persons can dance and touch each other inside this room. It is a very pleasant experience ;) but very expensive if you want to visit this place every day.:(

We were there in July. Actually got served quickly! Nice jug of sangria. We had a nice afternoon and there was plenty to enjoy..

We thought the reserved beds were for those buying champagne.. VIP experience..

VIP "members" can make a reservation per telephone for the beds. You can either buy a Glamour Beach VIP card for €400 (!) or receive one for free via the management in case you're a well-known regular customer, recognized by them (and representative!).

In case you stay more than 16 days in Cap and plan to visit the Mousse every day (€25 entrance), this card may give you some benefits.
Also, it seems you can win a card if you apply for their newsletter.

I think that the reserved beds are for good clients, friends and members as DAAN69 say.

When i arrive all the beds were "reserved" but i think that for the friends there is always a free bed.

For us was the second continuous summer to Cap. I hope that we will go again next summer.

We had nice afternoons at mousse party and nice evenings at Eros Cafe, Melrose and LeTantra.

I have nt go to Glamour till now, because i have been so satisfied with Tantra.

Have i miss something? Anyone who can compare?

We really don't like the new mousse. I guess we'll save money this year.

Before, you had a hard time finding some space to put your towel and sit down, now it is impossible to leave your towel somewhere to go into the foam area. Unless you show up at 2pm. It's so small ... And the foam area is really so tiny, it feels like you're indoor (without a roof). It doesn't have a good vibe for us.

Yes, i agree with YOYO34, it is difficult to find a place to put your towel.

And i agree that it is not easy to leave your things (wallet, money, sunglasses, keys, etc.) at a place that you can not control. As I wrote in a previous post and anyone can see from the photos, the mousse area has no visual contact with the pool. So it is a risk to leave your things. This partially can be adjusted and solved if you have a waterproof bag with you in the mousse area.

Dive shops sell small waterproof boxes (big enough for your keys, credit cards & cash) that hang around your neck.

I have visit Tantra, not the Jules. Yes the people ages was about 30-50.

I went to Le Jules once out of curiosity and found it to be simply grim.....but there are others who seem to like it. It took a few years to even enter the place as there was often some dubious characters who were clearly friends of the door staff just hanging around and generally acting in a somewhat unsocial way for their own amusement... and in the process driving away potential customers. I agree with your Tantra review.
When i visit Tantra, this year at the end of July, the feeling after the entrance was very good. The music good, the drinks nice. My wife was happy dancing and for first time in her life she try the pole dancing and she enjoyed it very much. We have visited the doorway that lead in to the play section. Yes there was a security guy. On the beds there was 2-3 couples and many men (7-10) around thems. We did not found it very enjoyable because it was too dark and too many men standing upright with their cock in hand, it was nt so nice. This night we visited this play section for 2-3 times, anytime the same scenario. The only erotic was the couples and the group play on the beds. Later we visited the upper floor, there was nt a security guy to check for couples only. This place was much better. Some single guys was there but they were helpfull for the couples! On the large four poster play bed i saw 4-5 couples and some guys. Around them at the tables and the sofas, too many couples, trios, group play etc, sex everywhere! A very pleasant atmosphere. As a conclusion i can say that it is a very good club and we had a great night there.

For me, a club has to be to in at a least a good state of repair, which when I visited, the Le Jules play area most certainly was not, and then after that it's simply a case of who and how many are in that night, which is of course a little out of the control of the owners to a large degree.

In some clubs I've had a fantastic evening like here and here and then there have been other times when I haven't even taken my clothes off and stayed in the bar because it has been so quiet or the clientele just haven't appealed to me and the latter doesn't make it a 'bad' club, it's just how it happened to be on that one night.

I've had a few exciting times in Tantra, with one of my earliest visits being the most memorable there, but for consistancy of group play, I have always found 2et2 is the one that delivers. It's a chill out spa rather than a club, so don't go wanting or expecting a full on drinking and disco night, but I love it because it is so relaxing, sensual and a break from the full on heat and hedonism of the rest of the village. An example of my adventures in 2et2 ;)
