O.K.
But let me at least give a few important diferrences between Cap d'Agde and other naturist/nudist resorts/beaches.
The Naturist Quarter of Cap d'Agde has a nude-beach of almost 2km long!!! So only one small part of 100m-150m for the swingers etc. will not limit the possibilities genuine naturists have. The whole Naturist Quarter is not from one owner or organization but has several complexes (villas/appartements etc.) from different estate and holiday agencies and the Naturist Quarter has several traders (shops, pubs, clubs) from different owners.
That that small part of the beach and the facillities in the naturist quarter for the people visiting that small part has dominating some news and naturist websites/papers in the past is unfortunately true.
A major role in it is for the French well known pornstar Clara Morgane who recorded once a video in Cap d'Agde.
I may post the video in the rapidshare links section if i can find the video in my collection, otherwise just google about here. I do have also another video/dvd which was recorded in Cap d'Agde, it was free with an editon of the French swingers magazine Interconnexion which is also involved by some party's in the Glamour club. Despite this dvd is recorded inside the Naturist Quarter, you don't see much from it, as it is for 95% recorded inside an apartment and you could hire everywhere such apartment.
Spoken over videos and dvd's, i have also figured out that there are several (swingers/porn)videos are floating around on the web indicating (in the name and/or tags) that they were shot in Cap d'Agde while they are not.

Cap d'Agde has always been the first and always progressive and that will be so in the (near) future.

Those vids gives me good rememberances of the many contests that were organised in the 80's and 90's at Le Pagayo in Port Ambonne. Le Pagayo doesn't exist anymore and is now called La Perle Bleue.
I think your pics dissapeared as they original from Voyeurweb and once taken by someone from Voyeurweb who also cropped out the water/textmarks.
I hope to get a dia/negative scanner within a few days and then i will scan some pics i took years ago, including some contest pics at Le Pagayo.

This eastern weekend i got my negative/dia scanner, i wanted for a long time. 35 euros for an 'Ion' scanner was a real bargain i couldn't resist.
Here are the first results, they are all pics from the (early) 90's, shot with old fashioned very simple cameras (Agfa with cassette film/Olympus with normal film) and scanned without much experience of scanning negatives.
The first pic was something special for me. It was one of the first attempts of shooting a voyeur pic on the beach, i was lots younger and when i came back home i was disappointed that the pussy was out of the pic. Those girls were Germans and staying on the camping while i was staying in an apartment (Port Nature).

The next 10 pics are from a "Miss 35+ Election" they held at Le Papagayo at Port Ambonne. It was one of the many elections they held there in those years.
A few days later they had the "Miss Nude Cap d'Agde" election. Again i brought my camera with me. I took a table on the terrace of Le Papagayo and when i saw some other people shooting pics, i thought it would be ok to shoot pics. Otherwise they would tell me when i shot my first pic. But no one said something to me and i kept shooting, all the girls were really amazing and i couldn't beleive my eyes. In the meanwhile i got my drinks i ordererd but when the election was almost finished a waiter from Le Papagayo came to me and said that i was not allowed to take pics and he wanted my film. Off course i was pissed off and because i didn't want much trouble, i gave him my film.
But off course not before i took the film outside the shell/cassette.
So you can understand that i would love to see once pics from those elections.

Yes you are correct it is normal to see women sunbathing with their legs spread. Giving the guys and of course other women a great view.

I can confirm that this could be happen on the nudist beach of Cap d'Agde, but mostly only on the special part where you find the swingers. On the other hand, some women could feel themselves more comfortable (than elsewhere on a beach) that they also will suntan with spread legs on the other parts of the beach, but this is mainly not with the intention to show themselves. To walk and pass such woman with a view on them is often not a problem, but to lie your towel directly very near such woman is not always appreciated.

Single Male First Time Visit
 

I went to Cap D'agde last sumer at the beginning of June. I had never been to a nude beach let alone a nudist resort and I was extremely curious to feel the experience.

I arrived by train in Agde took a taxi to the Naturist quarter and waited the 2 hours until I was allowed to check into my Heliopolis room. After check in I was led to a great apartment on the out wall of Heliopolis facing Port Nature. It was great for people watching especially as it was close to the main entrance to the beach. I must admit I was slight inhibited especially seeing everyone else naked. I just wasn't at their level of freedom just yet. It was about 5pm and i decided "Ok it's time to head to the beach" Wearing some small shorts, I walked the length of the beach. I soon found out for the time of year that I went that the beach was sparsely populated. There was almost no one there and it gave me a little courage to take off my shorts. As I walked further up the beach I started to see more people and I decided that I was going to bight the bullet and take a seat on the beach and relax.

No soon had I sat down did a couple in their forties start to fondle each other causing a small group to gather around them. I must admit I was shocked as hell. Their fondling soon turned into full blown sex and the small group became larger. I couldn't believe what I was seeing but I was now beginning to enjoy this place even more. I didn't want to become to overtly voyeuristic not knowing exactly what the protocol was so I kept my position and simply stole glances at regular intervals. A few minutes later and the couple finally reached their climax and simply wiped off and rolled over. I was incredibly turned on by this experience. The ability of this couple to just perform in public had been a closeted fantasy of mines for years.

As soon as I got back to my room I could not control myself and released one of the largest loads I had ever let go in my life. I was determined to witness this sight again. However, the weather took a turn for the worse. Constantly raining for days on end it wasn't until the day before i left that the sun came out again. Rushing to the beach I began to comb the beach driven by my lust to see the public sex that I had witnessed. I combed the dunes walked up and down the length of the beach but only found moments of passion. I soon realized that I now one of the many single men that were doing the same and I realized that I did not want to be the voyeur, I wanted to be the exhibitionist.

All in all the experience was great yet a tad bit lonesome. I was told by one of the waiters that because of the time came only older couples were there but during the summer months especially in August the younger people come out to play. He also said that in the summer months there is a shitload more action to be seen and had though u had to be careful on the beach due to the cops. I had vowed then and there that I would return with my girlfriend the next year during the summer.

However, my girlfriend and I broke up so I am returning to the Cap again by myself in August but this time my naivety is gone and I am a man on a mission.

Ten years ago when I was there, I saw some but they had also just started policing so clearly it not the place it used to be.
