I think a knee brace can also serve as protection. A few years earlier, one of the nude female riders took a tumble and bloodied her knee a bit.

2024 Philly ride is this Saturday :)

I bought a new (to me) GoPro Fusion (360 degree camera)... hopefully it will solve the problem of just barely missing the best pictures --- those frustrating pictures of really cute knees!


i will have the GoPro Fusion, a regular GoPro (5 or so years old.. i think it's a 7?) a knock-off GoPro, a Wyze security cam, and two Pixel7s... wish me luck ;)

• i have been slow getting pictures and videos gathered together from the August 24, 2034 Philly naked bike ride.... but i am afraid mine are not going to be as good this year as last. i didn't take many straight snapshots, figuring i could grab frames from videos. and then several of my camera's had issues that i didn't identify until after the ride was over. its a shame....... because this year was AWESOME .
  
  
  i appear to have about two hours of ride footage from a GoPro Fusion camera (their first 360 camera, which in theory can record 360-degrees at 8k.). i apparently got a bunch of gunk on the lens so it didn;t shoot crystal clear in every direction... but still, there should be SOME good stuff in there.
  
  here is a random minute that i grabbed from the middle of one of the 2 one-hour clips. (it is a pain-in-the-ass to process these so that they can be seen... so its going to take a while still to get them all).
  
  the clip i uploaded here is recorded with "over-capture" which means you turn the 360-view into a regular video by choosing points-of-focus after the fact from the 360 video. I am still learning how to do this in a smooth presentable way.

I love your stuff micasa. Sorry it's such a pain to get converted. For anyone who doesn't know what to do with 360 videos, I've found that once you have it downloaded, VLC does a great job of letting you move the view around with your mouse.

as for my own pics... i am a little disappointed that i had so many failures. but i should still get some decent shots, nonetheless. for the 360 content, it is logistical issues. i have finished the first stage of processing for all the raw data so at least i can see what is in there now :)

Finally got my page sorted with YouTube who kept deleting and suspending videos. Madly because they were saying it was re-used content and I wasn't the original author. VERY BLOODY ANNOYING!

London Part 1 is up and I will add the rest of London, then Brighton in due course. Sadly I filmed in 2k but output is 1080p, sorry. My paid editing suite doesn't output in 2k. Unless anbody knows how to output in 2k using Kapwing.

Between here and Flickr, sign_in_here_uk (AKA ncis_uk) has been posting tons of great photos he took himself for over a decade. How do you convince YouTube not to ax your WNBR videos? I set up an account and posted three videos that had festive music and rah-rah environmentalist and body positivity text added... And my account was banned within 2 days.

Short but pretty good new video of the prep area at Philly from that "Steve" account on YouTube. I cropped 3 of the screenshots, one of them very tight, so don't get your hopes up too much. Still, I hope it's a sign of more to come.

For a video rather than a still, just take it as read that penes will appear!

it was just boring stock music from iMovie (the stock apple video editing software).

they didn't take down the video, they immediately suspended my account, AND they greyed out the "if you want to contest this" button. there was no subtlety in the signals sent....

No. YouTube helps by allowing you to overwrite any sections of copyright music easily with an inbuilt app in Studio. I have had my account deleted this week. 8 years of WNBR videos all of a sudden now against the rules! I even read and followed their guidelines. Really sodding painful. At least I have all the original files, just not sure where to add them now.

I've done a lot of research and everything points to XHamster of all places. This pisses me off as it ruins the point of a naturist event being shown online, and those attending who may see themselves nude on a porn site.

Dailymotion would work, but nobody goes there because it wont allow use with ad-blockers in place, Vimeo will require a paid account to host my stuff at about £200 p/a

honestly, the WNBR is wholesome as all get-out. it has much more of a happy hippy feel in person than the lurid drooling you get online. and i agree that posting WNBR videos on porn-sites goes pretty far against the spirit of the WNBR and sullies it. but the options are scarce. its pretty scary how much monopoly AND monopsony power google/youtube/alphabet has in this area... i'm not trying to monetize this stuff, but if you are trying to make a living as a content creator than there really are two games in town: youtube and tictoc (and supporting the chinese autarchy is even worse). as a consumer of youtube-like content... the choices are ...what?

i'll try dailymotion, and see if the content stays up there? but dailymotion has been filed away and lost in my brain somewhere in the same drawer as mySpace and netscape....
