Blue Brunette - 2010 & 2011
 

I really like this girl and it's the fourth year in a row she's rode in the parade (2008-2011)!

What I found really helpful was that each year except for 2010 she painted herself blue which made it a lot easier spotting her in the group shots when I did some digging last night on the internet. LOL. I've got a nice compilation of her now from each years ride but unfortunately most of them are watermarked so I can't post them here :(

But here's a taste of her at each years ride. Apologies for any reposts as I'm sure some of them came from OCC but I tried avoid as many repeats as I could:

2011 - 1st six are from this years ride (a couple are posted in this thread but the others should be new?)
2010 - Only year she didn't paint herself blue which made her harder to spot

Apologies in advance if anyone is upset for posting pictures of her from past rides in the 2011 thread! But I just love when you have that "a-ha!" moment when you recognize a girl from last years ride... let alone 4 years in a row! I just had to share!

There shouldn't be many reposts. I found most of these on other sites and I don't think they showed up on OCC but I tried to limit those I could. And credit to all the original photographers or if I posted your shot here. They're all great shots!

I think she may have rode in the 2007 ride as well!? (attached some photos below). Five years in a row!? I've come across a couple photos and vids where the girl in question looks a lot more like her for various reasons. But I've had a tough time tracking down additional shots from the 2007 ride of the girl with the blue mask in question to compare too, so it's hard to tell. Still not sure. The best shots unfortunately have her making a funny face, are WM or are low resolution... not to mention differnet bikes each year. So maybe no? Still, there are a few photos that show some similarities that leads me believe this might be her again. But maybe that's wishfull thinking?

Klondike, if you see this post please PM me. You posted some zips in the 2007 folder but the links are mostly dead now. You may have shot some some clearer images of this girl in question and could provide an answer if I send you some WM images to comapre too.

But enough with hi-jacking this thread. Let's see some more 2011 riders! I've noticed a lot of veteran's from previous rides during my searches I didn't notice before. Once I have some time I plan to make a seperate "Best Of..." thread feautring them.

One more of Molly for you simonlintworm... looks like she was having fun and enjoying herself the whole ride. Can't wait for that Beyond Naked documentary film. Curious to see how what the riders thought of the ride as they prepared for it and afterwards.

I'm kind of drawing a blank on this girl for most years accept 2010. I know I took a few good pics of her in her orange paint job. Here is one below. I will check for more from other years and get back - its late now.

EDIT: I also have some 2011 pics of her. Looks like I missed her in 2009.

Since this thread's been bumped, and bumped with conversation about my favorite riders no less, I'll go ahead and post the following anecdote. (Just text, no pics, sorry. :()

On Friday, I was running some errands and found myself at the mall here in town. Walking along the main corridor, I did a double-take as I passed a cute college-age redhead, who seemed to be doing a double-take herself. I found this odd, as I no longer typically associate with cute college-age girls (although there are a handful where I work). It wasn't until I had passed her that I realized that it was this cutie's friend, the girl second from the left in the painting party pics.

It reminds me of a line a friend had once, the first year we were at the college here. Two girls streaked our first full day in the dorms, and when we were formally introduced several hours later, he said, "You look different with clothes on." :D

A guy over at Flickr tells me that the three girls in the first pic, taken by me in 2009, are sisters, and that they have ridden many times. The clothed one in the middle is the same girl as the one shown in the 2nd pic (also from 2009) and 3rd pic (from 2011). The other sisters also rode in 2011..

Repost of one of my own pics from 2011 showing one of the three in a blurry closeup (I was on a cell phone if you recall), plus the rope/knots girl in the background. The third was yellow on top and either black or blue on the bottom, with a newspaper logo on her chest.
