Folsom Street Fair isn't a parade of any sort. I went to FSF this year and didn't see any kids at all. As far as I know its for adults only. Are you sure you aren't confusing this with a pride parade?

There are no kids there. It's not a residential street (although there are some apartments) and the entrances are blocked off. I don't know if they can legally exclude children that are with their parents (it is a public place) but I think they can exclude unaccompanied kids and can warn parents.

I've seen teenagers that looked a little young, but I've never seen kids there.
