Guys, come on!! Ref the pics in Post 795, this is in the Green Mountain National Forest (not Park) and this particular spot is 15 miles north of Rutland, VT.

This location is at 43°50'25.89"N 72°57'45.30"W. Google Earth has good Street View of the location but there is a Subaru Forester parked right in front of the sign making it a little harder to get a view of the sign that will allow an easy confirmation. There is no doubt that this is the spot, though.

Ref the pic in Post 793 – Hats off to Titfreak - that would have taken me a while to identify that as Nashville. But thanks to that I now have the iconic Nashville AT&T tower in the tool box.

The pic appears to have been taken on I-24 around 36°10'27.85"N 86°46'14.86"W. Google Earth has good Street View imagery from there. Just pan around to the north pretty much right over Titans stadium and you have the view – less the cutie, of course.

OK – got it. No need to veil that – thinly or otherwise!

Didn’t realize that was your wife. Let me assure you that your post is a whole lot more important and interesting than any lat/lon Google Earth BS I might be able to hack away at!!

Keep up the good work – it is greatly appreciated by the rest of us – I’m here to tell ‘ya, buddy!!

Looks like the sign says "Weather Factory". Is that enough to pinpoint a location?

Ref the pic in Post 803 - almost too easy! This is the Fire Island Light on Great South Bay south of Islip, Long Island. The boat was probably somewhere around 40°37'58.89"N 73°13'22.09"W.

Ref the pic in Post 805:

This cutie is sitting on the beach in Arverne, Queens, New York around 40°35'9.17"N 73°48'2.13"W just off the intersection of Shore Front Parkway and Beach 73rd Street. The view is to the north.

This spot is pretty much 2.7 nm out on the centerline of runway 4R at JFK.

Google Earth Street View from that intersection will provide more detail (flags, street lights, roof antennas, etc.) needed to nail this location.
