The last photo demonstrates one of my favorite things about this ride. It ends at what they call the "piazza," which appears to be small bar and restaurant district. The riders hang out and drink in the plaza, and many remain unclothed for a while. The girl with the hula hoop, along with her brunette friend, rode last year; and it looks like both years the pair hung out naked post-ride. I love that, and I hope we'll get to see some of that video footage of her hula hoop routine.

Yes, when I first saw these pics today, I thought I was looking at some naked performance thing in Copenhagen or Amsterdam. I mean, that was the closest to this I have seen. It really makes for some cool images, as is often the case with WNBR pics when the nudes do something other than ride.

Yes, it's one of the ironies of the naked bike rides that a naked person speeding by on a bike just isn't all that interesting, visually. The best shots are always of the pre- and post-rides. It's also strange that while pre-ride photos abound, the post-ride photos are always in short supply, with the exception of Brighton. Yet, the post-ride naked parties do exist, and I've seen them referenced on the various facebook groups for the WNBR's. I guess because these typically take place on private property, it's a little easier to regulate. And there's also probably the attitude that the public demonstration being over, everyone's personal naked time is off limits.

All that said, having the Philly post-ride party take place in a public plaza is about the best-case scenario for folks like us who just want to see naked pictures of pretty young women having fun.

It is not really much of a bar district...yet at least. It is actually an area just North of Center City that was neglected for quite some time. That one area (few blocks in particular) has been developed by a prominent Philly developer/owner that has opened up a few nice businesses. The ride starts near the Art Museum (where the Rocky statue is) heads toward Center City (Liberty Bell, Independence Mall) and finishes in Northern Liberties. The best pictures are hands down in the area where the road narrows and everyone has to sit still in Center City. I would post some awesome pictures but my fucking camera was stolen at one of the bars.....so if you are the prick that stole it please just post the pictures and I will forgive you!!!!!
