Surreptitious photos
 

The surreptitious photos and videos that are being taken on the beach will be the end of Cap D'Agde and there should be more policing of it - the number of dressed people walking up and down the beach pretending to be on the phone, but actually taking pictures, is ridiculous. There should be more security to ensure that people that go to Cap to enjoy nudity and anything else they may want to do, don't have their images plastered all over the internet. If somebody is identified on the beach it could have serious consequences to them, down to losing jobs, family and friends! Friends of mine had booked to go this summer but have cancelled because of the fear of being filmed.
It is a bit seedy that someone has to stoop to the level of secretly filming people on vacation to get their kicks - it is also illegal in France where privacy laws are very strict.
I have seen some photographers have their cameras or phones thrown into the sea and being chased off the beach by other beach goers, so there is a little justice if they are noticed. We also saw one person being taken away by the police when someone reported him, which was great; he was bundled into the van in the nude which would have been a bit embarrassing for him when he got to the police station! It was good to watch though!

There are only going to be more surreptitious photos, so we better get used to it. We have been nude beach going for about 18 years now, and cameras are smaller and less obvious. While it's good that there are laws that protet you, don't count on them.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. There are very few people on the beach wearing any clothes (far less than 10% and yes I did count a few times).
As for phones. Almost without exception the people I saw using phones made sure they were being very careful how they were using them. People were making a point that other people could see they were not filming or taking pictures.
Unlike the Brits or the Yanks. The French have no problem with sorting out any suspicious activity themselves.

We arrived in the Village on Friday. The weather is sublime.. The best and most settled spell of decent weather we have had ( looking at the forecast) for a while.

Yesterday we enjoyed breakfast at 1663 .. Of all the people at the restaurant half were dressed in clothes you could walk down any high street in... More people walk about the village clothed, that's for sure..

The beach is fantastic.. Yesterday it was very hot and many people bathed in the sea to cool off.. It's cold but nice once you are in..

Paralia beach beds were fully booked.. A first.. Book early!

Can anyone confirm if Babylone is arranging pool parties this year? If yes, which day of the week is it and what time does it start?

We are at Cap d'Agde the last week, coming from Barcelona.
Going by train from Barcelona is easy and short, about three hours time depending of the speed of the train and requires a train change in Perpignan or Narbonne. The arrival happens to Station Agde and then you must take a taxi ride (about 15 minutes-25 euros as i remember) or by bus (about 40 minutes-1 euro ticket). There is a bus stop just outside the naturist village so required a short walking of 500 meters to one kilometer to the property that you have rented.
The first impression watching people walking naked in the central street going to our Heliopolis appartment was shocking even for us who have become accustomed to nudity on beaches. But after our installation in our apartment we was stripped and walked to the mall for a refreshment. After the first few minutes we got used to be naked and my wife took off his sarong he wore as she was the exception, which makes you feel uncomfortable if you are partly dressed.
Our next experience just before afternoon, was the coast of swingers located at about 800 meters from the main beach of the village. Walking under the sun on the sea shore, despite the heat that made those days (in Paris was 40 degrees) is not at all unpleasant, and the good news is that the sand there does not burn. People on the beach was too many for a long to about 300 meters they occupied this beach, couples in their majority. Immediately after was the gay beach before the beach Marsellian, so we turned back. At the swingers beach you have to search for enough space to stretch out your towel on the sand. As time proceed to the afternoon some couples became more demonstratively with caresses at the beginning, touching each other, and after handjobs and blowjobs. However there was a group sex, around them was spectators and they watched. I admit that it was very very interesting. This freedom of sexual expression was made the shy people there, more freely to express themselves. I do not think that anyone would characterize negatively those who participated and they were more expressive on the beach than other more shy, as all understood that it was a relaxing holiday choice.
At the same mood of relaxation was our evening. We choose to start with a dinner at a restaurant. My wife was dressed with a revealing dress and i saw some men and women to look at her, but it was annoying to admire, indeed they were dressed like us. After we have great fun dancing at a bar. It was too hot as i see my wife and everyday women wearing sexy dresses dancing erotically with their men or dancing at the pole and after a few drinks to caress each other and to do things that nowhere else can happen.
In a few words I want to say that Cap d'Agde is an excellent destination for couples who are faithful to each other, specially if they have the level of trust and knowledge between them and it is clear that sexual expression at this place, in front of strangers (and with strangers if you like it), is not something bad and in contrast unleashes the sexuality of the couple .

Every Wednesday and Friday. If you are staying at either Eden or Babylone it's free otherwise 20€ .. Limited to 400 people!

Last year (and years before) the pool party at Babylone was on Wednesday, the pool party at Eden on Friday, from 14:00 till 19:00.
Both were free entrance for all couples, even if you're not staying at those residents, we never paid entrance... Is this changed this year??

Yes, both the parties have moved to Babylone and for non-residents it's €20.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately we preferred Eden ourselves, so for that entrance money we rather do more Mousse parties @ Glamour this year. ;)

The pool party at Babylone on Wednesday was great as usual.. A different DJ, not DJ Fou but good all the same.. Numbers limited to 400.. The dry ice has stopped because I think of issues with skin burns and replaced by compressed air which is shot out from two nozzles fixed to a steel frames which arches over the pool..

It has to be the best €20 worth of entertainment money can buy...
