Crispus filled in with some more info: It's "Whiskey River" (not to be confused w/"whisky," a different chain), and the Macon GA looks right ( 4.bp.blogspot.com/_OLc2TjnHOgQ/TBQRZIutuKI/AAAAAAABAzY/pNlY8NiW7v0/s1600/WHISKEY+RIVER+MACON+GEORGIA+Nightclub+building,+Wh iskey+River+Nightclub,+Sports+Bar+Grill,.JPG ), though I couldn't be sure some others have the same architecture (I do know several don't). 4570 Pio Nono Avenue |

I clicked on the thanks button, but let me publicly thank majicman. Not only did you ID the pic, you provide us with some sexy and daring flashes from Mrs Majic!
Attachment 5805998 Now does anyone recognize this flash outside of the window? |
With appropriate first finder credit going to Astro8 who correctly identified the location for the pic in 709 as Boston Harbor - a few more details are that it was taken somewhere around 42°21'46.15"N 71° 2'44.47"W looking SSW - and the sailing ship at the extreme right side of the pic is tied up at Long Wharf. I am working on identifying the boat they were on which was almost certainly a harbor tour or whale sighting boat.

For #723, that is a view from the OMNI Mandalay Hotel is Las Colinas, Texas. The elevated tram route is visible in the background. This view is toward the NW. See Link: hxxp://binged.it/1aswa9h. |
One last detail and I'll drop it. It looks like the pic in 709 was taken on the upper deck of Boston Harbor Cruises' boat, the Rookie at the location in the previous post. Boston Harbor Cruises works off of Long Wharf - in the background on the right side of the pic. I will make a point of finding time for a ride on this boat next time I am in Boston. Looks like it could be some fun - even without the additional on-board scenery.
Major credit for all this still belongs to Astro8 who initially correctly identified the location as Boston Harbor. |

Hockey bear pic in 724
Ref the hockey bear pic in post 724, I believe if you brighten that up you will find that the music store across the street visible over the young lady's left shoulder is at 418 State St., St. Joseph, MI
Interestingly I can also tell you that this picture was taken between May 26 and October 22, 2006 - the only time these bears were on display. Look for bear #17 on the second page of this site: hxxp://www.gokzoo.com/community/st-joseph/beach-bears/ I would not have expected to see that dramatic tan line clear up in Michigan- but you never know. |
