This particular story interested me during the WNBR. I saw the girls being passengers and at the beginning of the ride they looked hesitant and very nervous. This was obviously their first time but why were they there? The rider tasked with towing them the whole way didn't look nervous at all. I wondered what the story here was? How did the girls come to be in this situation? Which I'm sure at the time they asked themselves that!
Anyway, I decided I'd snap them at all the points I was at/could. This was because I could see the transition from the frightened and nervous to comfortable and confident. I think the pictures show this brilliantly. I'm glad they participated and more importantly, managed to get into the WNBR experience enough to shed with all the others. They look great.

the fact that you say she's been there before is bugging me because I don't remember seeing any posted pictures of her.....can you show or point to any pictures of what she looked like on previous rides? I just can't believe I never noticed her before.

Flickr shows that the camera used was a Nikon D7000. I think you'll agree a rather decent camera. It's a 16 megapixel jobbie which produces originals of about 5000x3000. I would like to have see them posted :(

Perhaps you don't recognise her without the green headband ;)

She and her Climate Camp chums appeared at Brighton 2009 and 2010 before making her appearance in London 2011.
