Pre parade painting

I thought the progression of the painting was interesting.
I especially like the girl with black paint.

Since the largest size was usually 333 x 500, I combined the photos.

My favorite painted ladies of 2007 were the Egypt trio. Out of curiosity, I scanned the 08 photos
specifically looking for them. I can only positively ID one of them, but I think I found them.
I used Klondike's 07 photo, flipped, so that my positive ID is side by side. I'm 60% + about
the other two girls in greenish paint. Anybody..??

Time, life's circumstances, make up and the paint themes can confuse, but it is fun to sleuth.

Only the girl with the small boobs is a match.
From a distance the other two look similar, but i checked several other pics including hi res pics from last year and certain body markings don't match

Quite a few; riding (without sunglasses) as well as walking (with, as here).

Any more shots of this cute redhead, I imagine there has to be! I've only seen a couple. We need more paint party shots too. This thread is amazing! I'm kicking myself for being too busy that day to make it north to fremont!

In addition to the others within this thread, here's one uploaded to Flickr today. It's one of 20 tight shots (and they go one size larger than this) at http://www.flickr.com/photos/leester...ed/2008/07/23/

Creepy... looks like someone doesn't like photographing heads

There are quite a few further back in the thread; you will also find more in the zips Klondike posted, and he has been working on adding 2008 to his own website at http://www.riverslug.com/Fremont2008/index.html . The one I've posted of the painting is at https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...037#post436037 (though it says many are available in larger sizes, that's not one of them: sorry!)

Are there any more sets of the paint party out there? This is great!

Go back through this thread and read the posts. Several links to other sites with Fremont galleries are listed.
A lot of people have done the heavy lifting already (thank you posters!). Following their links is pretty easy.

Seattle in Google earth

I just discovered something interesting tonight for fans of the Fremont Parade. If you go to Google earth and try cruising Seattle in street view, you may notice that the quality of the street view photography is exceptional - better than any other city I have looked at. Why? I don't know - maybe Bill Gates, a local boy, underwrote the cost of the better pictures. Anyway, cruising the Fremont district is almost as good as being there. My own photos are no better in quality than the street view camera photos here!

To show you what I mean, below is Google earth's pic of the pre-ride bodypainting area I photographed in 2007. The next pic shows one of my shots from the same location but a slightly different angle. Incredibly, the Google street view photo is equal in quality to mine (which was taken with an expensive Canon camera).

I've traversed the whole parade route in Google and it is exceptional. Anyone contemplating attending this parade ought to try it!

enjoy,

Klondike

Google earth's street view pic of the Sayles residents, host of the bodypainting session is also exceptional. See the first pic. Then look at my pics from the same location.

Google earth is incredible!

Flickr user artsculturalfestivalprotests has continued to post backward from 2010 and is now at 2008. As has been noted, he seems to prefer male subjects, but there are still plenty of women in there. Also, he tends to get great posed shots of the women who seem eager to be photographed.

I'll post any shots of women worth posting here.

Last for now. He tends to post over the course of a few days so I'll see what else shows up.

This guy has indeed some of the best shots we have seen on this subject, I just hate that he manages to get the girl to pose in panties:mad:, when 90% of the time, we know they rode fully nude. I guess some of us would have asked the guys to do the same!

Do you think this guy is just 'lucky' in what he packs, or is this cutie (again with panties on now!) having an effect on his anatomy, by painting him?

A few more. I love how this guy gets the up close photos of naked women. I know we see some of this at Fremont, but often the women look at least slightly perturbed. At any rate he seems more successful than any other photog at getting the pretty naked girls to smile for the camera. I wonder if that has something to do with his obvious sexual preference. I imagine it changes the dynamic up a bit if the ladies think he isn't getting off on it. In any case, lucky us.

I hope there's still a lot more where these came from.

Thanks

This is a wonderful thread; thanks to all who contibuted. I noticed something strange about it, however. When I saw a post with pictures, I hit the thanks button. Then I clicked on pictures to enlarge and save them. When I went back to the thread, I found that my "thanks" had been deleted from every post on that page! I went back and hit the thanks button again, and if I didn't enlarge any photo on the page, my thanks remained. I never had this problenm on any other thread, or at least I never noticed it. Has anyone else had their thanks deleted when they clicked on a photo?

goofball76 08-27-2010 09:40 PM

No Thanks

My thanks disappeared as well.

If you hit the "Thanks" button, enlarge the photos and then hit the "Back" button on your browser the thanks doesn't show up because it's still seeing the page as if you just came into the thread (without the thanks). If you hit the "Thanks" button, enlarge the image, hit the "Back" button and then refresh the forum page it should show up. You don't have to hit the "Refresh" button but you have to if you want to see the thanks at that moment. If you just leave the thread it will show up the next time you visit and will also be visible to everyone else.

Slick
