The picture quality was a bit low, so the contrast wasn't as strong as I would have liked. But, it still turned out ok.

this are the best for me

When enhancing images it's important to just enhance the details that already exsist. Mostly through the use of contrast exaggeration, hue, brightnesss, and level adjustments. You want to avoid "drawing". The purpose of this thread is to bring out the details that are already present. For example, the second image you posted has what appears to be drawn on nipples that appear much lower than they actually are. Try to avoid the urge to guess at placement, and concentrate on what's actually there. If you can't see them, that's fine, but don't present the image. The task (and sometimes difficult at that) is to make your adjustments in a way that reveals the truth rather than painting on top of an image with 'wishful thinking'. I've attached the image you did that I'm talking about.

That being said, please feel free to try again.

How about these? Probably just wishful thinking that they could be done. I haven't been able to do it, but then again, I'm no vidpro. Mainly interested in the blonde girl, the one on the far right of all three pics.

Welcome to the thread poa. ;)

Personly, I usually attempt a brightness\contrast as the first step on every pic. If I can't see anything, I give up. (Please note, I am far from perfect. And will not "boast" of my perfections.)

Some dislike the "Color Burn" appearence. Others state it brings out the details. I prefer to use a localized "unsharp mask" on the areola\nipple.

Can you give us a quick tutorial on how you did this. I have some I'd like to try.

It's so easy, it almost doesn't require a tutorial.

If someone applies a negative (inverse) filter to an area of a picture, all you need to do is re-apply the same filter to the same area. This will make the affected area positive (a "double negative"), which essentially restores the image to its original state.

capcity 10-10-2006 03:03 AM

any luck with the shot i posted earlier?

Not yet. I haven't found the time. I'm working on a pretty big project, and haven't had much free time lately. I'll give it shot though as soon as I get a chance.

capcity 10-10-2006 01:25 PM

hey, we all know how that is...i appreciate the effort, and good luck with all your work

Yeah. I figured it out on my own last night. The effect is astonishing!

How do you go about selecting just the shirt area? I assume you trace it out somehow but can you give further details on this?

Thanks...
