Thanks for all the reports, fellas. It's disappoint to hear that London appears to have fallen off, but I'll remain hopeful we'll still get some good events. The cultural shift some cited doesn't appear to be global, as the southern hemisphere rides seem to have grown of late, with plenty of attractive younger women, so perhaps our mileage will vary as more rides take place in other regions/locales.
I'm particularly interested to see what happens in some of the US rides. At one point Chicago was (officially, though likely not in reality) on record as the largest in the world, and produced some of the best pics, but consistently chilly weather has plagued the event for the better part of the past 15 years. This year they've moved the event to June 25th, and while bumping it forward a couple weeks might not seem like a big deal, anyone who's spent any time in the Upper Midwest (where there are really only two seasons, Blizzard and Tornado) can tell you that could mean the difference between 15C and 35C on ride day. Similarly, moving Portland to July 30th could produce some intriguing results.
So let's not all give up hope just yet.
