Yes, infact they were. You know I'm such a stickler for full nudity. This was a little different from the Babysitting auditions where we had a finished script and were trying to find the right actors who could play the parts. On the tape I have, I was trying to find ladies who were willing to take off their clothes and more importantly, get ino the whole embarrassment theme.

I assume you have signed releases to destribute the audition tapes? There's a big difference between in-house review and public distribution.

But yeah, this sounds very interesting. In fact, I think it would be great if you did some short skits, just a few minutes long. Maybe you could just provide a minimal set (e.g., a wall or object to hide behind), and describe a situation (such as, taking a shower and then find towel is gone, have to sneak around, etc.) - and basically see how long she can keep the situation going. You might not want to waste time on that if the girl is clearly unnacceptable, but it might be a good "callback," or second part to the audition. Even if you don't use the actress in that project, it'd be good to have something like that on file for future reference when you cast new films. And it'd be a great way to see how easy each actress is work with.

A few dozen shorts, produced at practically no cost, could allow you to try out as many different concepts as you want. Or simply experiment with a bunch of different variations on one theme if you'd rather. Just let your imagination run loose and see what works and what doesn't. And if it's feedback you want, you could get tons of it from these things while also building up a market for your more elaborate projects.

Absolutely, I had the actresses sign a release form giving me permission to use their image on video. No worries there.

Once I can do the transfer from tape to DVD, I'll be able to start uploading some material. I also want to explore the concept of working with some local amateurs, who would be brave enough to try this. I asked Aimee, but she won't let me video tape her naked :(
