Mmm, I don't think you can draw that conclusion. Yes, she has dra-ped a scarf to hide most of her face in a similar way to some Muslim women. But, if you look closely, although the pattern on the scarf is black and white, it is not a classic "Arab" or kufiya/keffiyeh pattern. I think she is simply hiding her identity so that she can go nude in public without risk of repercussions. She might come from an Arab or Mormon or WASP or Atheist family or be an orphan, she is not shaved as Muslims are supposed to be, no wedding ring. Nice fantasy for some, and very nice to look at. |
