Don't know if this wonderful lady was an amateur or a professional model but she made a couple of contributions over the years and I think her name was Lorrie.

Haven't seen any of the new versions but I did hear that they were being a bit more censorious regarding nudity and geniality. It does seem a bit ridiculous, let's face it if you are a naturist you are quite aware of what "Ladies Bits" and "Men's Bits" look like. Naturists are generally not shy and exposing their "bits" does not tend to faze them. Most nowadays are shaven and are even more exposed to others than years ago when everyone tended to be a bit more hirsute and had a bit of camouflage to hide behind. Who doesn't look? Let's face it in the world of naturism there are a lot of voyeurs and a lot of exhibitionists. Does anyone agree?

H&E was the bomb in its day..Alison Brown leading the way but so many fine ones like Petra Vieten and of course perennial favorite Wendy Cooper among so others and of course even amateur models. And most of all..it was pro tan.and. pre shaving and tattoo era. Charlie Simonds more than likely will probably will live to be 150....

From H&E magazines from the mid 1970s when Leslie Bainbridge was editor, while most photographs were 'pre-shaving' there were regular pictures of one or two nudists who were shaved. Often they were amateurs rather than models and Leslie published editorials on shaving and how this enhanced nudity and ordinary women and men and he was very pro circumcision too.

As a result many letters found their way into the magazines which were pro depilation and circumcision and there was a considerable following of readers who would buy the magazine to be able to read about these subjects and see the occasional pictures fully shaved amateurs.

Does anyone know what happened to Alison Brown? She was quite the beauty back in the day and seemed to model more for real naturist publications than glamour shots. Or so it seemed.

Loads of the glamour girls were regulars in H&E, like Wendy Cooper, Alison Brown, Gilly Sampson and the like. Maria Sheriff did some features really recently with Melanie Walsh, I think both are actual naturists. I used to love those Parafotos films...Gill was the best one - any idea if she did other stuff?
