Well Air NZ bought Ansett as a commercial venture - not a bailout - and paid 30% more than Singapore Airlines bid, perhaps a reflection on their commercial nous?
Yes the fleet was old but Air NZ did due diligence as did Sing. Air.
The NZ g'vt bought 80%+ of Air NZ to bail them out - no bail out for Ansett.

Air NZ asset stripped Ansett including their Superannuation Fund - talk to ex Ansett employees who never got paid their full super entitlement.

Anyway back to what this thread is all about - photos - and, my friend, I couldn't resist this one! (If you didn't know it's the founder - Sir Reg Ansett)

Just flown back on Virgin, (sorry i don't have pics) was looked after by someone called Sallyanne...... huge tit's just gorgeous. If anyone has any pics I would be in heaven!!
