Most of the photos posted here are from events where people rented a photo booth. The photo booth owner will upload the photos to a gallery on their website so that the attendees to the event can see all of the pictures. Sometimes the galleries are password protected, sometimes they aren't. Sometimes the passwords on the protected ones are really easy to guess.

I would also guess that photo booths that are just fixtures at certain locations, like malls, also store the pictures they take, and the owner can view them if they like.

Not really true, any chemical machine is incapable of saving pictures as they do not use negatives. Most other commercial digital machines cannot save them either.

Usually only machines that are made specifically for the event rental market have the capability.
