Treehouse Contests – 1982 (1 of 2)
 

In 1982 the Ms Nude California contest was brought forward to May and the pageant winner was automatically entered into the Ms Nude International contest, to be held the following July. The backdrop for this year had a blue background with the Golden Gate Bridge at one end and the Statue of Liberty at the other and the lyric “…from Sea to Shining Sea” along the top.

The winner was Becky Cerda, who, I believe, is contestant number 6 (six in from the left in the first picture - unfortunately I don’t have a close-up photo of her). The presentations were made by Donna Bradley (third picture), which was unusual because Susan Wadleigh won the previous year’s competition, so perhaps she couldn’t make it and Donna was co-opted as runner up.

The remaining contestants from Miss Nude California 1982 (that I have pictures of) – numbers, 5(x2), 7, 8&9, 8, 9(x2), 10(x2) and 11&2 together.

All these pictures probably come from pre-pageant photo ops, but there is also a video from the day of the pageant. It includes a short scene of the girls (and men) rehearsing (this may have been when the photos were taken). For those who haven’t already seen it, I’ve posted the clip to the Nap-less pageant thread in the “Free-File Hosting” forum.

Treehouse Contests – 1982
 

The Ms Nude International 1982 pageant took place the following August (these are all probably rehearsal pics) and was also won by Becky Cerda. Unfortunately the line-up pictures don’t show all of the contestants and I don’t see Becky in them.

I only have a few pictures of the contestants: Mainly of contestant 6 (four of them) plus two pictures of the girls relaxing in the pool – presumably after rehearsals. Anymore pics/information out there?

I read somewhere that she was the mother of seven children at the time of these pageants!

Apparently she weighed 260 pounds before slimming down for the contests. "The 27 year old bookkeeper was chosen for her poise and her ability to articulate the positive benefits of nudism as a lifestyle" - yeah, right. :rolleyes:

NAP-less Naked Beauty Pageants
 

I'm not sure what contest this is from, but the picture is labeled, "Miss Indiana".

Treehouse Contests – 1983
 

After 1982 pictures of the Treehouse competitions become harder to find. According to cotemporary newspaper articles, the Ms Nude International pageant was held in July and was won by Terrie Lynn Carr a local barber. An article in the San Bernardo Sun of 11th July 1983 describes the backdrop as being a “Southern Delta scene”, so it seems that these two pictures are from that competition. I believe that Terrie Lynn is the tenth girl from the left in the first picture.

I don’t have a single picture of The Miss California pageant which was held the previous May in 1983, however I have found a short clip of the competition, which I’ve posted to the Nap-less pageant thread in the “Free-File Hosting” forum. https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...37&postcount=9
Although the title of the clip on the thumbnails below is “Ms Nude California 1980”, I believe this is incorrect, since there was an Indian theme in 1980 and this definitely looks like the same backdrop as the Ms Nude International pageant held two months later (see previous post).

Terrie Lynn Carr also won this competition (she appears in the 12th –14th thumbnails below).

Treehouse Competitions 1984 and 1985
 

Sometime around 1984, Bill and Fran Flesher left the running of the Treehouse Ranch to friends and family and began operating a clothes free hotel nearby. Unfortunately it seems that whoever took control of the pageants were a bit more restrictive on photography at these events and I can't find much else. So I don’t have pictures from any pageants held in 1984. I’m not even sure if the Ms Nude California pageant took place in that year, however the Ms Nude International competition was won by Diann Polchinski.

In 1985 Summer Simmons won both the Ms Nude California pageant in May and Ms Nude International in July. The newspaper article (below) has a picture of Summer and I’m guessing that she is also the second contestant in the line-up. So perhaps the second picture is from one of the 1985 competitions.

It’ll be great if anyone can come up with any other pictures or can confirm or disprove any of this.
