Treehouse Pageants - 1978
 

As Jennysathome pointed out, they used the same backdrop in the 1978 pageants but added a small bamboo hut on one end of the stage. In the Ms Nude International (USA) competition there is also a headshot of someone (Elvis Presley?) in the centre. However I don't have any pictures of the pageant and only one of the winner - Karen Dupras.

The Miss Nude California 1978 pageant was held a few months later in October and featured the same backdrop and hut. I've only seen three pictures from this competition and none of the winner who was Barbara Gallo.

Treehouse Contests – 1979 (1 of 4)
 

The Fleshers had a simple new backdrop painted for the 1979 pageants – just a bunch of yellow stars with “Miss Nude-USA” written on it. It seems that the Bill Flesher had appealed against the earlier ruling and was allowed to use the name providing a hyphen was put between the “Nude” and “USA” which further discriminated it from the “Miss USA” trademark. (In later years this “trivial” alteration was also banned after a counter-appeal by the “Miss USA” people – legally, a landmark in the trademark world!).

The Miss Nude-USA 1979 pageant was held around July. Twelve of the contestants are shown in the line-up below but I think that there were about fifteen competitors. The winner was Pam Disandro and (comparing with Jennysathome’s earlier post - below), I believe Pam is contestant 3 (third in from the left).
There are quite a few pictures of the contestants that have already been posted but I don’t believe that they have been attributed to this competition so I post them again in the next few posts in the hope that nobody minds.

Miss Nude-USA 1979 contestants: 1(x2), 2(x2), 3(x3) – Pam Disandro, 5 and 7. I don't have one of contestants 4 or 6 (can anyone help?). Sorry about the bearded guy in some of the photos, it’s not Bill Flesher but he gets to hug most of the competitors (it would have been one of my three wishes too…)

Miss Nude-USA 1979 contestants: 13, 14, 15, 16(x6) and one other which is a bit of a mystery – it’s in the same style as some of the others but the girl doesn’t appear in the pageant and it seems to have been taken on a beach somewhere (does anyone know the story behind this?)

Another couple of photos from Miss Nude USA 1979, a group photo and the runner-up Dell Berger who went on to win in 1980. I think the photos above were taken on a different day as the girls are wearing different numbers and some are not there.
