Does anyone know how to access the gigh resolution or original photos from Getty?

I worked in NYC during that time and several girls from my office participated. I need better quality to find them.

Went to the Sea of Hull preview yesterday for the participants. I took a photo of this poster. I have met two of the women shown in this photo at this event. They were both proud and not embarrassed at all.

Some how spencer has a way of talking women in to posing , Many have never posed before nude all in the name of art
Maybe its because they are in a group with other women , but their again he has single women pose .
He goes up to women in the street and asks them to pose nude shows them some pictures and they seem happy to do it .
Is it because his pictures and ART is out there now .

Any other views on how he does this ,

Yes, I agree that many people will do it because it's Art. They probably harbour a slight exhibitionist side (don't we all to a certain extent) but this provides a 'respectable' way to exercise it - for a great Artist who does 'Installations'.

I also think Tunick is fortunate to be operating in a time when the world is more liberal in many ways and people are more inclined to make their own mind up about what's OK.
I better shut up or we'll be starting a philosophy thread.

hello everyone.

not sure why i randomly thought of this today, but has anyone seen (or have possession of) some of the DVDs of the photo sessions? i believe that these were either produced by spencer tunick himself or by the art gallery he partnered with for the shoot. a friend (i have fallen out of touch with) had a copy of his shoot from cleveland, but i have never seen the one from the shoot i did in buffalo waaaaaay back in 2005. i think the DVD was offered for sale to those who participated, but my mind is fuzzy as to whether i even knew about it at the time.

anyway, it seems the DVD exists, but i have never seen it on the ol' interwebs....

Since several libraries hold it, you should be able to at least rent the DVD through your local library via Interlibrary loan. Then, when you get it, you can rip the DVD on your computer and post the video here for us all to see.

Just a heads up, Tunick's upcoming shoot will be in Melbourne. Here's an article talking about some of the participants. Can't wait to see if they pop up in some of the pics. :cool:

Seemingly not mentioned on the forums yet, though very few pictures seem to have surfaced so far (there's a half-decent video on Spencer's own Imguram channel). Only 170 people so quite a small installation but plenty of older Norwegian women and enough younger eager local first-timers to merit a look.

If you use the hashtag #bodobodyscape on Instagram and Twitter you should find some "behind the scenes" pictures, but any nudity is likely to be pixelated.

These can be downloaded in firefox how?

There are many plug-ins for Firefox that can download from Vimeo, YouTube, etc. VideoDownloadHelper is a good example. It puts a small icon on your toolbar, which you click when you want to download the video on the page. You can get it here: www.downloadhelper.net/

But most of the time, I prefer to use 4K Video Downloader, which runs as a separate little program on the desktop. You just copy the URL of the page the video is on and paste it to the 4KVD window and it will download in the background as you do other things, and it doesn't clutter up Firefox. The only downside is that with the free version, you can only download one video at a time. It works very well with Vimeo, YouTube and many other video sites. It’s straightforward to download, but getting a desktop app to play it correctly is a challenge. I downloaded several versions of the file, tried a YouTube app that edits the video to include position data, and VLC (the only player I have that even supports 360-degree video at all) only plays one of them in 360, and it comes out looking a lot lower-res than it does on Vimeo. I don’t think I’ve ever said this before, but this video actually works best online. If you have Google Cardboard or a similar VR headset, watching it on the Vimeo app is incredible. The main downside is that you pretty much have to let it play, and you can’t easily pause, play, and skip around in the VR headset.

360 support is new for computers, though, and it will probably get better over the next couple years, so maybe the copies we download today will look a lot better when we find them again in the future. I’ve already had that happen with 4K video. A bunch of them that I downloaded 2 years ago were unwatchably slow when I got them, but the 4K support has gotten so much better since then, I’m glad I didn’t delete them to free up all the disk space the huge files use.

Sorry to hijack the thread with an irrelevant question, but does anybody know what type of aircraft that is? (And why is it parked in the middle of the road?!)

Saab Draken, probably used in a kids playground now, it's over 50 years old.

It's a Canadair CF-104 Starfighter (ex Royal Norwegian Air Force) preserved at Bodø Main Air Station and wheeled out as a prop.

I had no Idea that Spanish women would be fully shaven in the numbers that I saw in the pics, and in the video....it appears numerous women are full shaven.... I find that so hot. As usual, the person operating the cam didnt zoom in just a bit to capture the full clear picture.... If they had, this would have been the greatest of all time video.
