Here's what I shot @ NAP of thhis blonde, I believe it was 82' or 83'. Please correct me to the year if you were there. What was her name? Where did she dance/perform at? That little bush of her's was bleached white & really stood out in person. Any info would be appreciated! Shot with Canon AE-1 & too much telephoto lens! I've posted a few in this thread & have more if interested.

I have never seen this before. Amazing footage. This is the best NAP video I've ever seen. It's the 2nd show from 1986. Ron Jeremy is classic in this.

I think the download should be looked at. It appears to have a browser object that is difficult to remove. Just a heads up.

You can't use Firefox. Use Explorer. Then download the file. I had no problems...

Yes. I used Explorer, and it loaded some pop up that would not go away. I think it was TB2 or something. My son got rid of it.

Yes, do NOT download the viewer plugin. Those sorts of things almost always have bad stuff associated with them. What Sniffles77 is suggesting is that you download the actual video. You do this by clicking the much smaller, less obvious download button on the bottom left of the video. That does require you to have a free account to be logged in.

I realize that this was posted almost a year ago, but if you're reading this, do you still have the uncropped version?

If I remember correctly, Ponderosa used to market & sell their video of the shows. Went on for a couple of years, as I remember. You can tell it's Ponderosa produced from the narrator's voice, who for the longest time was the MC of the event, always dressed in the tuxedo - even when it was 95 & the heat was killing everybody. Highly reccomendable behind the scenes video. I've got four events converted to DVD from the 90's & trying to figure out the best host to post them on. Suggestions?

These are some of the clearest film scans I have ever seen of the event. The photographer must have used a slide film - Ektachrome - & a great telephoto lense & had some access it appears. The photo of Hyapatia Lee might be one of the best I've seen & I even photographed her.

Here's a page from my 1998 NAP/Ponderosa 1998 calendar I got after attending that year and is my last time I video-taped the event. Sadly, they only marketed the calendar for that yeat as I remember. I even called when the delivery delayed & they shipped me an extra one! Note, Naomi Knight left center/on knee - multi-year veteran contestant. She has to have the most # of appearances at the events except for Ron Jeremy. Note the little brunette standing right of center. She was petite but lifted weights, & I got alot of minutes of her on video, by the old trailer, which was to the right of the stage. She was semi shaved & not shy at just opening it up for extended viewing! If the veteran Retro NAP fans/collectors want more of the calendar pages let me know & I'll start scanning more.

Here is another page from the calendar and two of the performers. The brunette on the right is the same on that I referenced in my earlier post. She was a multi-year participant and winner! She was one of those girls that actually spent alot of time with posing & talking with the crowd. She spent alot of time by the trailer, blowing bubbles and posing for the cameras. I re-call hearing that she was performing in the 3-state area.

Anyone have more of this sweetheart...as posted by Klondike?

Hey man, THANKS for those cool vintage pics !!!, but i cant believe the amazing blind ignorance, silence and apathy of the many commentators on this thread regarding CHIFFON !!! Incredibly, NO ONE ELSE on this thread has even mentioned her !!!, but she was absolutely the most classically curvacious and most spectacularly attractive contestant in the ENTIRE HISTORY of both NAKED CITY and NUDES-A-POPPIN !!! In the early 1980s she also won the Miss Showgirl Contest at NAP for her hot nude dance act (to the tune of the Beach Boys' "Help Me Rhonda") and also won the Miss Nude World Contest at NAKED CITY....


Yeah, there were many other very attractive ladies in those contests over the years, but i could throw away every pic of them except of CHIFFON !!! And NO, i didnt prefer her because of her hair or skin color (i really like ALL hair /skin colors and races)....But sadly, she started to gain weight during the mid 1980s and apparently left that scene soon after (?)....but i believe some day her then classic beauty and images will ultimately become nearly as famous and sought after as BETTIE PAGE....


Super Sight & Sound Video had sold the 1979-1980s NAP VHS videos thru ads in VIDEO Magazine and i had bought those, but due to financial trouble had sold em to a collector in the 1990s....tho i do remember making a VHS dupe before selling em (which ive not yet found in my boxes of stuff)....The later late-1980s-to-Present NAP videos were all produced by The BUTTMAN (Staggliano ?) and Evil Angel Video, but with far less beauty and far more raunch....

Yeah well - its looking like if I were to throw away every NAP pic I have but those of Chiffon, I'd be left with about two pics. :) Thats out of thousands total. NOt something I'm inclined to do....

But I thought it would be fun to take you up on your challenge, considering I have a fair number of the original Hooter Historian pics from their archives. But she appears to be rather fugitive unless she changed her hair drastically in other years. So, I give you this one pic below which I can't guarantee has not been posted, but who knows..

And, considering that you appear to be quite knowledgable about NAP, a couple questions: One, what do YOU have in the way of pics you could post? and two, I bring this one up every year or so: The original Hooter Historian website is no longer, and their archives contained roughly 15,000 retro NAP and naked city pics. Thats ten times whats gone up in this thread. So, and I address this to all you retro NAP collectors - what do you know about this collection and about Hooter Historian? The pics are copyrighted. I was a member for a time and downloaded a couple thousand of these before my index finger pooped out :) So I said to myself, "I'll get back to the rest later". Well, it turned out to be much later and by that time, the site was gone. That means that 15,000 retro NAP pics are hiding somewhere in limbo, or NAP heaven or in someones shoebox in the attic. There have been attempts to post some here (sans copyright) which I objected to and they were removed. I will not post the ones I have at OCC. Now, it would be fantastic if this collection is still available on line somewhere. I'd love to have the 13,000 or so that I never got around to downloading. But where would they be lurking? I would assume that if Hooter Historian resurfaced under a new name, they would still have the pics and charge for them. But I could be wrong. Anyway, any info as to the whereabouts of this unique and fantastic collection of pics would be greatly appreciated!

Cool thread, I never noticed it before.

We were camping at Sun Aura (previously Naked City) this past summer and made friends with an older couple who had been going there for 40 years. They pulled out a couple photo albums going all the way back to the early 70's, it wasn't thousands of pics but there were several hundred. I'm sure they wouldn't let me copy and post since they were featured in many of the photos but it just goes to show that there are still pictures out there to be discovered.

Thanks for the photos, that's my era and I remember very well when the only thing women shaved was their legs :)

Waist Line in the 80's
 

One of my fav parts to these older 80's style pictures are the old waist lines. The bikinis and panties, not to mention pants in general back then had the waist line just under the belly button. With bikini and panties, this meant the leg opening was much higher giving the impression of much longer legs. Not complaining about the low, lower, and lowest waist line of the 21st century, but miss the longer legs of the 80's...
