as far as i am aware all copies of the 7" had the 70s version of paintshop panties added to the cover.

the 7" came with a free poster of the bicycle race - a quite tasteful aerial shot of all the riders, so to speak. i know this as my Uncle had it on his wall, was always great to visit him as a consequence :cool:

to my knowledge a completely uncensored video of it doesn't exist, they tampered with the originals, but you can find the most complete in terms of unedited version of it on the Queen Greatest Hits I & II DVD sets that came out 10 or so years ago - not sure if they are still for sale anywhere, but, you know, there are ways to get these off the internet......

An uncensored version of the cover has been used for a backstage pass. Not certain of uncensored 7" versions.

The model for the Candy-O artwork (by famed pinup master Alberto Vargas) was actress Candy Moore, best known as Lucille Ball's daughter in the sitcom The Lucy Show.

In Judy's book, she says she presented Electra Records with a full-fontal nude shot of herself for the cover of Wildflowers in 1967 but they rejected it. That's a year before John and Yoko's Two Virgins - brave lady. I guess she didn't have the same clout as Lennon. Twelve years later, she managed to get her bum on the back of an album cover as posted by Southlba. She was told by the record company people even that cost a lot of sales.
