Wow. Not very many hot girls at his point (I think I've seen just one). A little surprised. Also noted it's a sausage fest as other said as well.

Hope the weather is better for the ride out here in Portland. There are always at least a handful of hot ones here. Too bad the ride is in the evening. Wish they would have it in the afternoon like in London.

Shots towards the end of the ride will be better - a lot of the girls took underwear off once the weather improved - was a nicer situation at Temple's Inn than Hyde Park

Manchester Naked bike ride 2016

It's a bummer about the London weather. We've learned over the years that female participation is highly dependent on at least decent temperatures.

On the good news front, I just checked the forecast for the various rides and for the first time in several years it's going to be hot for the Chicago WNBR--around 90F/32C at start time. Those who have been on this board for a while will recall that Chicago was one of the biggest rides in the world (at one point officially the largest, but possibly only because they did the most thorough job of counting), and produced some of the best photos. For about the last seven years it turned into a "Partially Clothed Bike Ride" as the temps had been in ranges best suited for a parka rather than bodypaint.

I'm hoping they pick up some of London's slack this year.

The various road/pavement closures made this year's London a real pain to snap. And those of us who worry that the behaviour of pushy pervs will put women off taking part for good looked like having are worst fears realised - the Hyde Park group was overwhelmingly male, though there was some good fun guys in among them. But also many who weren't painted or seeming to be riding for any particular reason.

It rained throughout the painting time. I didn't bother taking a single shot. There was an area under some trees, taped off, light dreadful. Light was no better as they headed down Park Lane either.

Things brightened up later and one of the other feeder rides seemed to bring a lot more ladies. Managed to get shots of the start, a few on Westminster Bridge, quite a lot on Waterloo Bridge and some more at the finish which approached from Trafalgar Square. Could have grabbed a few at the first rest stop too but you looked around and it was just a sea of unpainted men.

The weather turned out to be mostly warm with sunny spells after the poor start. There are sure to be some decent shots emerging over the coming days. But this really does seem to be a ride to be avoided if you're a woman now, thanks to the vast army of iPhone warriors :(

As others have said, this started off as quite a miserable day. However, in my opinion, it turned out pretty good.
I wonder what it would have been like if it started sunny.. It seemed quite devoid of some of the regulars.. As usual, I recorded only video. The below are some screencaps (i'll get around to uploading the vids in the video forum when I get around to it).

Sorry, but neither of those are from London 2016. The video is last year- the stills just a misc collection of wnbr images, some of them London 2015.

I guess everyone's off grabbing the great stuff that's emerging from the usual suspects in London. Thought I'd take some time off and drop some in here- make sure you bookmark or better yet follow these users as there'll be much more to come. Of course the great thing about having your expectations pessimistically downgraded is that you can then only be pleasantly surprised. Many of the regulars are there if you look- fanny pack girl had tights on this year but seems to have grown a few bra sizes. Lots of new, nude talent- love the fully nude pregnant woman and the nude girl with the handstitched pasties held on by her nip piercings!

The last four images are from Yendor, and I had to downsize them to meet upload limits- so better just to download the albums from Flickr.

I saw videos of the Manchester and London rides online, looked to be mostly guys. I suspect some women are reluctant due to the attention on the day and the implications of images hitting the web. The fewer women that do it the more attention the participating ones receive.

I'd say there was about 3 or 4 decent looking women in Manchester that I noticed, the rest is pretty much a sausage-fest. The girl in the first picture being my absolute favourite of the ride, still hoping to see more of her appear :D
