Oh bloody hell, I've seen that loads of times. I was looking forward to something new!

Quite frankly I don't know why I bother. Go on then susancat unload all your Barclays Girl videos on this thread then as my videos will be staying on the hard drive with comments like that.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a clearer example of the cliché that negative comments have 100 times as much effect on posters as the (extremely, extremely!) positive ones… Don’t let the negative people get you down, WNBR_Addict! After all this time on this forum, there are going to be a lot of people who have seen all the old stuff, and even more who haven’t.

Kind of OT, but related: just a couple days ago rigaudeau hit us with an extreme blast from the past in the Free File Hosting section, a full film a lot of people probably downloaded the year it came out, but I’d only ever seen clips of. (And the full film makes the clips much much better, check it out if you haven't)
There's a huge difference between digging a classic file out of the archives (on request) for people who have never seen it and reposting something that was posted twice last month. Your post is the first kind.

I'm really sorry about the way my comment was taken. All I meant was I was all excited to see something I hadn't seen before, it was a clumsy way of putting it. I'm sure there are many members who haven't seen it before and kudos to you for lighting up their day!

While the cycles are often called "Boris Bikes", it was Boris Johnson's predecessor, Ken Livingstone, who set up a feasibility study into the creation of a cycle hire scheme in London, having been inspired by one in Paris.

Barclays initially sponsored the scheme ... which led to the bikes being given their original blue livery.

In February 2015, Santander took over sponsorship and the following year the bikes became red. It also meant they gained their current official name - Santander Cycles.

The bike livery might help to narrow down the year of a WNBR photo.

In my opinion, this two mature ladies are the most elegant naked riders all over time (maybe with Sue "Red Wig).

I greatly appreciate the work of WNBR_Addict, even after having been able to see only the video captures.

Basically it means I would have to trawl through hours and hours of footage. Some that I have and some that others have of London 2014. Process it and upload it, only to have negative comments.

Seems unlikely after a decade or more, especially as her and her mum actually courted publicity in the run up to the 2014 ride as they were campaigning against library closures.

I just want to say that I love seeing and hearing more and more about her. She is without a doubt my favorite rider who’s ever attended one of the rides and I think she’s one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. It’s a shame she hasn’t been to a ride in so long, but it’s lucky we have so much of her. I just only wish there was even more! I know a post without pics can be boring so here are some of my favorites. And please if there are any favorites anyone has or perhaps unseen pictures, share them! I’d love to get this forum active again.

I'm sure there is a tribute thread to a couple of regular Brighton riders but I forget their names. There was also one for one time only Cardiff 2012 rider Sophie but that appears long deleted which is a shame. Presumably she found out and filed a complaint.

Another rider who I’m surprised hasn’t had a thread made yet is Christina, (or Christine? I’ve seen both and not sure which is right.) But she’s got a great look to her and has been to multiple rides, most recently last year! We need to get one started for her.
