An article published on 28 August 1973 about Debby (or Debbie) winning the Miss Nude International Pageant. It also mentions the rodeo to be held starting on the date given by wobble27 - 22 Sep 1973.

Treehouse Contests – 1974 (1 of 4)
 

This competition is difficult to date: One (paid) website describes other pictures from this pageant as Miss Nude California 1974, which seems to be about the right year because two competitors (Nos. 6 & 16) also appeared in the Miss Nude Rodeo contest in 1973 and two (Nos. 1 & 19) may also have competed in Miss Nude USA 1976.

However judging by Jennysathome’s useful post (above), the Miss California entrant for that year’s Miss Nude World contest was the winner of a competition held annually at Olive Dell (Miss Bare State) and don’t think there were any Miss Nude California pageants at Treehouse before 1977. The same post also describes Bill Flesher’s plans for a “Dog Patch Nudeo” in July 1974 (Dog Patch is the home of L’il Abner, a popular strip cartoon at the time), so these pictures may be from that event or perhaps from 1975 or 1976 – I’d be interested to know if anyone has any further information.

It looks like most of these pictures were taken on the first day of the competition because there’s no line up. The first two (below) don’t show all of the competitors so I will add individual pictures of the contestants – contestant number 1 is first, most the others in follow-up posts…

Contestants 17, 19, 20 and 22 (no 18 or 21) and finally a poor quality picture that may be of the actual pageant (presumaby held on the second day of the event). The first four in the picture (from the left) look like contestants 1, 12, 16 and 2, but I'm not sure of the others. The backdrop could be a mock-up of Li'l Abner's cabin (from the Dog Patch title of the event - see the first post in this series), but perhaps someone can provide better information.

I'm not sure if this does come from the same event. The picture above comes from a very small photo in a magazine published in January 1981. There is no information given on where it comes from. The scan is one I made from my paper version. I'm not sure if it is any better but I made the version below today from an online pdf of the same magazine.

Treehouse Contests – 1975
 

Thanks to Jennysathome for the additional information and upgraded picture (post #633) and apologies for not crediting him with the original post of the last picture, but I couldn’t remember where I got it (obviously from his post on this site).

I have only found a few Treehouse pictures from 1975 and they all relate to Miss Nude USA: Pictures 4 and 5 in the post below and this one (credit: Sniffles77). If anyone has any more I would be grateful if they could post them.

Treehouse Contests – 1976
 

I can only find a single picture from one Treehouse pageant this year – Miss Nude USA 1976. The winner was Nona Montague who’s standing just to the right of the eagle backdrop wearing her competitor number round her waist rather than her neck.

Each year the winner of Miss Nude USA was entered into the Miss Nude World pageant held a month later at the Four Seasons resort in Hamilton, Ontario. Nona also won that and Sniffles77 has already posted three pictures of her from that competition (pics 1-3).
If anyone has more pictures of either competition, it would be great to see them.
