There's always "The British Tribe". In the late 1970's BBC sent a group of volunteers away to spend a year as an Iron Age tribe. No one was evicted or anything like that and there were no daily or weekly updates; indeed the camera crew only visited weekly. Instead at the end of the year all footage was condensed to six episodes.
The link below is to the Summer and as you'll see features a fair boit of toplessness & nudity. In the last 30 years I'm aware of only one repeat showing and that was on one of the Discovery Channels.

The Ganges is indeed a great river to cruise. Very little river traffic; an excellent way to see rural India. Photographing cremations, especially at Varanasi, the holiest of Indian cities, is tricky, even dangerous, when done on land.
