It's as though some of these women were in a competition to see who could grow the thickest and longest bush. So lovely. And so many younger women, quite different from nudist parks today. A big thank you to all the posters.

I suspect their friends in the PTA and church knew nothing of their secret lifestyle. Even today that is the case for many/most nudists; hence the use of first names only.

My wife and I were recently at a small nudist resort and met an older woman there who, if she was dressed, would have looked like any grandma you'd see in church. Probably wouldn't give her a second look. Yet here she was walking around completely nude with a killer tan. I found that dichotomy extra sexy for some reason.

especially 1940s, 50s and early 60s. I think the high point of naturism/nudism was the 70s and 80s. Genuine naturists/nudists do not see their "hobby" as sexual, indecent or sinful, so no problem re God - although fellow parishioners might be shocked.

There was a lot less open nudity and pornography then. But, it seems that many younger people are much more body conscious/anxious (shamed?) now - perhaps because of more porn?. I read many stories of younger people covering up in same-sex changing/locker rooms and showers while older people seem more relaxed about their bodies. The demographics of naturism/nudism is now heavily skewed to age 50+.
