You can actually post links as text (ie not hyperlinked) just by un-checking the 'Automatically parse links in text' option in the Additional Options section (below the Reply to Thread section, where you type the message) when you post. It just means you don't have to bother adding in a load of spaces - and we don't have to bother taking them out again!:D

Perhaps it doesn't survive in any if the remaining edits. A lot of older films have been cut to remove things which were considered funny at the time but gave fallen foul of changing standards.
