Reminder that this Sunday is the last ever NYC bodypainting day. The weather should be very nice.

Looking through Manolo Gamboa's old Bodypainting Day videos, I noticed vimeo.com/469606773, which has two gorgeous women I didn't remember seeing on here before. After digging a bit, I found out he painted a third that day, too (last two screenshots) though that almost looks unplanned.

He doesn't share the dates on any of his videos, but from the ads and news on the Times Square billboards in the background, I'm almost sure it's from August 2015. But it's definitely not the main New York Bodypainting Day 2015, which took place in July in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, and is well covered in this thread, starting on page 5. I've been trying to find more information about this event, but all I can find is Manolo's many, many videos on it, which re-edit the same excellent footage over and over, and don't give any real information.

Does anyone know what the name of this event was, so we can try to track down more footage or images, preferably earlier in the painting process? :D Or better yet, have any of those images you can contribute? It's possible I missed it on OCC somewhere, but I went through all of the 2015 and 2016 posts on this thread and found nothing.

If you go through the dozens of videos from this event from his Vimeo feed, there may be a few minutes of footage not in these few or the long YouTube playlist, but these ones on Vimeo are the ones I'd look at first. Then check out the playlist, which probably has about everything, though I didn't check to be sure:

Ha, too many Vimeo vids to choose from, I really thought I linked to one of the (at least) 6 Manolo posted that include that shot. I didn’t want to paste in all 25+ links I copied into a file, since they mostly overlap each other so much. Love the content, don’t love the work it makes for posters :D
