Pages from a SELEXION
 

These color pages are first the front and back covers, then a color ad from inside and a color ad for this publishers' stable of swingers' mags. unReal People is all hard core photos, Looking Glass is all color ads, Odyssey Express gives the direct contact information for all the ads, and both Selexion and Connexion are typical swingers' mags that have mostly coded ads. In these, you send a letter to the ad, and put that in a larger envelope with both postage and a couple of dollars to the publisher, who forwards your letter to the person in the ad. That way, you supposedly could keep your identity hidden, and respond to only those you wanted to. In addition, some of the mags had "commercial" ads that asked for $ to send movies or photos, or to do "modeling".

One question though, all the scans seem to have colored smear lines , is it because of the magazine texture or perhaps you are selecting a different pixel ratio while scannning?

In answer to your question, I do not have a flatbed scanner. The one I am using is one that you roll down the page so that might explain the swirl marks. It is the only scanner that I can use away from the office.

SELECT--a different type of magazine
 

I liked SELECT even though it did not allow hard core/penetration photos or even erect penis'. It showed a much larger assortment of people--a larger cross section of regular folks, in my opinion. It also was a much larger publcation with many, many more ads.

I saw your posts with the old swingers mags, There is a gal in Az we used to party with Adds in Connection and that whole group of magazines they published, Diane looking for men for gang bangs, just wondering if you have any of her adds.
