That was my first post in this thread, and it was a guess, not based on actually having been there, so I'm not sure how long to wait to be told I'm right before just asserting it. Since it's been some time, though, here goes; I based the guess on examples like those I here illustrate, tagged at flickr as being of Hippie Hollow, of the two (secondarily?) salient features of the original pictures: the railing in the first, and the distinctive hillscape with rock outcrops, seen in the background of the second. Assuming that satisfies, then for my next feat I'll try to avoid the pattern I seem to have fallen into so many times here, of if not killing a thread, at least putting it onto life support, by positing a pretty easy one for those of you who've been able to solve ones as tough as some of those on earlier pages:

Gratified as I was to find my suggestion for relocating this thread so quickly accommodated, I must admit I imagined that it would take place only AFTER someone (anyone?) had responded with a post here; instead, it arrived pretty far down the chain, based on its most recent post before the move. Thus, ostensibly to give you a hint in case that's required, but as much to bump it at least once into the prominence necessary to get it going, here's a picture from not too far away from the city of the quizpic, and a hint for solving the latter: it features his most famous horizontal erection, so to coin a phrase : "Igitur Gaudi-amus!"

The second picture, the one in the hint post, was indeed at a Tunick event, though as indicated, it was out of town at a beach called San Sebastian rather than...

...being in Barcelona proper, as below and in the original quiz picture; that first one (see previous page) was not a Tunick, but was at Parc Guell, one of Antonio Gaudi's two most celebrated architectural creations.

As I interpret it, this means, pcs, that you have won and are now awarded the job of posting the next mystery photo (and giving additional hints if needed, as well as notifying the next winner). Congrats!

This pic is my most famous "Where are they" pic I own. I have dragged it out a couple of times, posted it, and never gotten anyone to tell me where it might have been taken. So...I will try again. I desperately want to know. It is a unique pic, and I'm just curious as hell.

By the way, Gaudi's real name was Antoni (not Antonio), as he was Catalan, not Spanish (despite some Spanish pseudo-fascist anti-Catalan racist media would like to make him Antonio)

Not necessarily died, but to my way of thinking at least, gotten well off the track. It's supposed to be a competition, with the first correct identifier getting the "prize" of setting the next puzzle; to that end, and starting from the most recent post (and sorry Klondike, who should by rights have been the next quizmaster under those rules), I'd say the Bacardi factory in San Juan PR. If that's right and raffles123 confirms, I'll find a picture to be identified, the next identifier will post another, and so on...
