Thanks for the great photo and links, 69|69. I wanted to ask how you were able to get the whole photo. When I tried copying the photos on the links, I got individual small portions of the photo. I wasn't able to find a link to the whole photo in either "View Image Info" or "View Image Source" in Firefox. Your advice would be helpful.

The photos are another illustration of how important good composition is photography.

There was a time when topless anything was the rage. People who opened or updated their businesses had topless staff. In some areas it was "illegal", and closed, in other areas the novelty wore off. In the early days of this era there were the bands. These guys (I think) are the Ladybirds.

These are from the Great Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco, which is the Charles Dickens Victorian/Christmas version of a Renaissance Faire. At night, they have more adult oriented shows. Let's go!

There are some more pics earlier in this thread, which inspired me to look for more . . .

Here's some info I found on a few blogs:

"As we neared the end of the fair’s day (the events run till 7:00 pm with the last shuttle at 7:15 pm) we headed to the 6 pm performance of Mad Sal’s Music Hall Extravaganza (featuring the Le Can Can Bijou) which featured all the performers from that day coming together for a bit naughty, raunchy fun. The most adult material in the show was sexual innuendo and lyrics about booze. The other big night time show was the 18 and over only Saucy French Postcard Tableaux Review at the Albert and Victoria Music Hall, but you have to get a FREE ticket to get in due to popularity. Tickets were gone when we check, so go early in the day to get one if you want to see it."

"And then it was timme to take my *18* year old to the show...The scene changes at 5:00 to 'Dickens After Dark', when grown-ups will appreciate the more adult fare of the artistic, yet provocative Saucy French Postcard Tableaux Revue (18 and over only, please; free tickets available at the Telegraph Booth).

And yes,it was OOH LA LA nude 'scenes' behind a see through screen as the actors played out a genteel household discussion of the travels of their late uncle the seaman (and the semen jokes were TERRIBLE!). He had not been exposed to that before- live action adult humor mixed with bawdy sexual commentary- so it was a nice light adult fun time. 2 friends from the scene were also there near us, and dear Laurie was also in the show!

Wow! Thanks. Some of these even look to have been taken from on stage, rather than through the scrim. Any more like that? (Or any others at all?) I have GOT to get back to Frisco for that show one of these years.
