Well I'm very keen to see any photos that people took of me, so I'm always happy for them to be shared :)
Part of the reason I enjoy having my photo taken is because I hope in seeing that that other ladies will see that it's nothing to be scared of, maybe that will encourage them to be more confident in themselves and not worry so much.

There was a friendly guy wearing a leathery look cowboy hat, sandals, glasses, and had a small camera in an old style looking case, who asked to take photos with me both at the start of the ride and at the end up near the ice cream truck, I'm really hoping he is either on here or that someone might have photos of that happening? He did offer to email me the photos but I declined and now I wish I hadn't as I'd love to have those :(

Helen was one of a good number of riders who (for me) appeared just the once, then promptly vanished. The two ladies posing a few posts back I never did encounter. I know some people only do the start, finish and/or rest points - I suspect these were among this group.

London is a very difficult ride to cover and it's always a dilemma where to be to get the best shots. Mostly it comes down to luck. But those taking part really seemed to be enjoying themselves this year. Official number of riders is given as 1013 but there were definitely more than that. In a perfect world, there would be just the one start point and the whole ride would be directed round the course by a police escort. What I did notice is that there seems to be less and less people getting flags, banners or wearing body paint relating to what this event is all about.

Yeah I totally get what you're saying, that would seem most likely, however, I can't help but think if she was doing some adult content elsewhere wouldn't we, of all forums, know of it? I'm not even trying to say you're not right, but ultimately until we have some kind of proof of this other adult content then it feels okay to assume she just "likes" getting naked, and wearing lingerie in public. I'm not saying this to you, but just generally, I wonder if many people don't realise that some women just like to show off and be confident with their bodies without wanting to make a porn career. I don't think it's just free-spirited women who just want to be at harmony with nature, or just for the cause of the protest, who attend these rides, but also women who feel liberated by being nude and seen in public, or even get slightly turned on by it (the anticipation of the ride, the thought afterwards etc), as well as the women who have an angle, as you say.

I would completely believe that this rider does do this kind of stuff (it seems so many have Only Fans), if only there was a shred of proof beyond a gut feeling. Maybe I just give her too much of the benefit of the doubt.

I was trying to link to a video on Gofile that I uploaded but it's told me I'm not allowed (just a 14sec clip of the lady I posted before in post #164). Please could someone tell me what I should do to share the video here (is there an alternative thread for clips?)?

In the mean time here are some stills from outside the blue fencing at the start in Brighton. The rider in the polkadot briefs (previously seen in post #143 by hunter_usa2003) definitely removed them at some point as she was unclothed at the end of the ride (crossing the railway line), but appeared to still have them on at Hove Lawns from other shots I've seen on Flikr. Does anyone know the story?

It took me a couple of years to work out what I think is a good route to follow.
My 1st stop is Westminster Bridge as they pass,
2nd the rest point just after the bridge.
3rd walk up onto Waterloo bride and catch them there.
4th brisk walk to Lincoln Fields.
5th I jump on the tube to Hyde Park and catch them as they finish.

It was Edinburgh today; last year there was only one seasoned nudist pair, though it was the first time (I think) that there was any genitalia on show- the council used to forbid that. You never know, it might have encouraged any female riders this year, although the weather was mixed, blustery and cloudy.

Manchester was quite good this year I thought, but it was the night before London so kind of got passed over...

Something to remember is that Flickr Groups are a great source for WNBR photos, including some that aren't otherwise viewable because of privacy settings. You need to be a member of the group to see those photos but joining most groups is one click.

OK so, just the two naked chicks on the Edinburgh ride, but that's a milestone, as I predicted- last year was the first year there's ever been any FF nudity to my recollection, ostensibly due to council restrictions. So some good news for WNBR fans!

It's not a paparazzi fest though, these might be the best we get.

I stand corrected, thanks. Schoolboy error, forgive me. Had a year away from things in 2020-21.

I don't know about those forecasting doom for WNBRs, though. In the UK, here, people have been forecasting doom for a long time now. One could argue that the high tide in 2015/6 was caused by many things, not least as rainy years preceded them.

Protests about oil use are surely now just coming into their prime, and if fewer cyclists have been dying on city streets it's surely only bc of the pandemic and homeworking, and even that has materially affected self confidence and concern about being in large groups. As an aside, I'm confident that many here share my reticence about contributing bc we know that participants of all ilk drop in on forums like this. Perhaps that has itself driven the rise of commercial exhibitionists on the ride. Perhaps not. But I always think that should affect the tone of contributions here.

All I'm saying is it's depressing reading people forecasting doom. Let's just enjoy what arises without potentially jinxing events, huh. I'm not complaining about accurate reportage by people who attend and know what they're talking about. I'm talking about people complaining as if it's a god given right that all these people should be naked for other's pleasure. That's not what WNBRs are about.
