Portland night ride
 

A sea of naked humanity, as Fango put it (I added the "naked" part) is what it was all right last night in Portland. I was so happy that there was no restricted space where entry was be denied if you were not a rider. They seem to be inconsistent in how they manage things. A few years back, I thought restricted pre ride spaces was becoming the norm. But then they ditched it the last two years. Go figure.

But I like this park (Normandale Park) which I had never seen before where everyone assembled this year. It has this nostalgic quality to me somehow, like that old fashioned neighborhood park where you used to hang out and play solftball, drink beer and eat hot dogs late into the afternoon. Now imagine you are sitting there in your lawn chair, when two incredibly built babes arrive, plop down, and promptly strip to the buff right in front of your very eyes. Thats what happened to me about 6:30 last night. That got me off of my chair in a hurry! No one seemed to be very shy about the fact that it was not dark yet. Later I tried to capture these two girls for the fond memory that they will leave me with, but I wasn't too successful (see the last pic). I was a little hesitant to just whip out the camera at will because I know this ride can get a bit.....um....difficult for photogs. As it was, I was gently chided a few times and so later I just decided to enjoy the sights but not try too hard to capture them. Others were getting chided too. I will always prefer to do it this way in Portland I think, regardless of the incredible temptation to shoot given all the sunlight yesterday.

But probably what I will remember most about last night was how much fun it was watching the ride TRY to depart! If you find yourself the right vantage point, you can get all the riders walking their bikes right up to you, then hanging there, stalled, for minutes at a time, while the incredible mass of humanity struggles to take wings. Girls will brush by you, then stop to chat, right under your nose. At one point, a sextet of totally naked lovelies stalled for 3-4 minutes like this. My distance to them could be measured in inches, not feet. Anyway, but this happens like this every year. Ten thousand plus? I'll wait and see what the numbers are. And the vast majority are in the under 25 yo category. Its no wonder this event remains the highlight of my naked year..

But unfortunately this year, they rode a different route after they departed Normandale, and I'm still trying to find out where the ride ended. Possibly someplace like Irving Park in North Portland. They rode along Alberta Street which is near the park. Otherwise few cruised downtown this year, it seemed, possibly because of the Rose Festival and them not wanting to disturb the kiddies there (nevermind causing a traffic nightmare too). So that was a big disappointment because I missed all the post ride gyrating to music. I did manage to make it over to the afterparty on Mississippi though. There was a fenced area restricted to entry but you could still watch everyone gyrating from beyond the fence. Happily, one beautiful naked blonde decided to do her gyrating outside the fence, right next to the other voys like me. It was a real treat..:)

Anyway, attending this ride every year always inspires me to write. That post-ride fizzled and I ended up spending so much time late in the evening trying to figure out where all those kids zooming by me were going to or coming from, doesn't take away from the memories I'll have of that incredible throng assembled at Normandale in broad daylight. I was right to cruise down there early. Nudity was about as early as 6PM, which is unprecedented for this ride. That gave me a full 3 HOURS to soak up the sights in broad daylight, and almost made me inclined to categorize last nights affair as a daylight ride. A dream come true? Absolutely! I mean, hey, that was always the one thing about this ride that could use improvement. Riders well lit by street lights are cool, but add a splash of sunshine, and those ten thousand bodies are now almost more than the eyes can handle. I did survive the onslaught to my senses and live to tell you all about it. I suppose I could have wound up in the hospital after passing out in my raptured state...

I attended to yesterday's wnbr @ Barcelona. Got to say I was quite disappointed with the few girls that showed up. I think even last year we had more! Oh well, at least a couple of cuties and two fully naked.

I don't normally do WNBR but I had nothing to do today, it has been an absolutely beautiful summer's day, I decided to head down and just lie on the beach. I knew full well the WNBR would be finishing there but to be honest I might have gone anyway even if there was no bike ride, just because of the weather.

Anyway, the whole bunch of them were rolling down the main promenade as I arrived, it seemed rude not to take a few pictures. By and large the quality is atrocious, I have got dozens of shots of bike wheels and the shoulders of beautiful women who just rode past too quick. I couldn't see the viewfinder because of the sun, so I was just pointing and pressing the button and hoping for the best. Statistically, I had to get one or two decent shots, right?

I'll let you decide...

I'm just posting everything where there is a woman in the picture, it's all part of the grand mosaic we're building together here.

Jacobite you are too kind. When an event happens in your home town seems part of the giving back that you go out with the camera :)

I think I can squeeze 10 more decent ones... oh actually I've one spare IMG-5504. I'll slip it in another post another day.

This isn't the end of the story, I was on the beach when the riders rolled up. I have better pictures, and some video too. It will take me a bit more time to sort that out, but I wanted to get the ride-past pics uploaded.

Does anybody know if the girl with the fantastic rack from last year's Brighton ride rode again this year?

Big request - has anyone got any photos of the WNBR / Ciclonudista that took place in Madrid, Sat, June 7 please?

I was there for only a short while, but was able to enjoy seeing nice chicks naked/semi-naked while I rode around with a raging boner.

Wasn't able to get many photos though - would love to see some contributions!

My goodness, I've just looked at my videos on my big screen and you're in for a treat when I get round to posting them!

I know I am an incredible tease but here's the final picture as promised, and I'm also reposting the dark-skinned girl in her underwear with a sun painted on her left arm. It looks like she (and her two friends) did the whole ride in her underwear.

At some point I will be posting a video of her stark naked, full frontal, trying to walk barefoot on painful shingle and staggering, wobbling and toppling gloriously all over the place as she makes her way up the beach towards my position.

That will be my second best video...

Here is the next group. If anyone is wondering about the order, the green girl on the skateboard came passed me going the wrong way then returned.

When I wandered over the first time on the beach I didn't have my camera with me (to my eternal regret) for the same reason, I didn't think it was acceptable. But when I saw so many other people, nude and non-nude filming with cameras and smartphones, and no-one stopping them or objecting, I figured it was clearly being accepted and the usual rules didn't apply.

I have to say I didn't get stopped, I didn't get a single snide comment, not so much as a hacky look. In one of my videos one of the girls glances at me momentarily, then carries on her way, like I was an irrelevance. At one point I was filming beside 2 stewards, they also completely ignored me.

And I came away with some great footage which I am happy to share. Drondo, I think you might find both the main groups of girls I filmed quite familiar, we cannot have been far from each other!

Sitting thousands of miles away this seems like an embarrassment of riches.

The popularity of the Portland ride seems to have reached some sort of "tipping point" it's an "in and OK thing" to do. :D

Brighton was awesome today! Just filtered through my photos and reckon I have 100+ brilliant ones and another 30-40 ok ones. Best of all was when I went up to the Chinese girls sat on the bank and invited them to take my pic for me then I got one of them to join me for a few pics, she even did the little dick sign for me on one of the pics.

I know a lot of people got pics of me, possibly the smallest penis on show today!

Did laugh at the Asian guy getting shooed off the beach by a Marshall! Also came across a girl who was deliberately showing off her shaved pussy and letting guys get close ups!

There was one total c*nt who was on the beach all day in green shorts who was pissing me (and most others) by just lying in such a way as to get a close up view of naked women (wasn't even naked himself). He get starring and making this ooooooh sound like porn stars do! Surprised one woman didn't thump him as twice she shifted position to stop him looking and twice he moved to get a better view. No wonder no women go to the nude beach alone at Brighton.

I think you would normally get lynched, trying to take pics of people you dont know on the nudist beach.

Going by past rides, so many were snapping away, it would have been hard to enforce 'no photos'.

Sadly couldn't make it this year, stuck in doors!

First time to Brighton and what a wonderful day. Couldn't ask for more - Gorgeous women, perfect weather, and cheerful people. Only crib was my camera which I realise is not upto it. I attach few of the more presentable snaps from a bunch that's mostly crap. Luckily, others have managed some excellent footage.

Are we putting the beach pics here or should we start a separate thread? Thought I should check before I bombard you.

For now I'll post a couple showing the two groups of girls that caught both my and Drondo's attention, because apart from the sunny-armed girl I haven't spotted any in the ride shots yet. Maybe it is because both groups arrived on the beach wearing underwear, and all the photographers were focusing on the naked girls.

Anyway, for my money these two groups had the youngest, prettiest riders I saw all day.

The "Black" group had two petite black girls and the sunny-armed girl who I am guessing is Asian or middle-Eastern. They were accompanied by a tall white guy with a Union flag on his shoulders, a fuzzy wig and a breather-mask on his face.

They arrived wearing bras and panties (except the guy who was balls-out). Almost as soon as they hit the beach (and right in front of me) they all one by one unclipped their bras and slid down their knickers and ran giggling towards the sea. Man, if only I had my camera at that moment!

At almost the exact same time the "White" group arrived. I think they were also mostly covered for the ride itself, the main girl had a purple feather boa covering her top and something similar round her waist. There were a couple of fair-brunettes and a girl who looked a little native American but more probably Asian. They set up behind where I was standing and I felt a little conscious I kept turning my head to keep an eye on them. It was worth the risk though, soon enough they all started unwrapping until 3 were naked and the shy brunette was at least topless. As I was walking back to my spot to grab my camera (having realised my gross negligence in not bringing it the first time!), the three naked ones all posed standing close together with their backsides showing to the fourth girl, who was taking their picture. Of course I was walking in front of them and was extremely lucky to see all three neatly-trimmed bushes side by side. I am sure I heard one saying "Don't show my vagina" :) They too then made a dash for the sea. My hope was to catch them coming back...

As a taster/teaser here is shot of two of the "black" group reunited with their clothing, and all of the "white" group having a picnic. Note the black and white knickers worn by the modest girl, note the purple boa on the main girl, look for the orange beads and pierced nipples of the probably-not-Native-American girl, and look out for the ankle tattoos, pierced nipple, the star on her left side-ribs, and the distinctive necklace of girl 4, not to mention her flowery-blue shorts. I'd love to track down a picture of them during the ride!

(Last minute addition - I've now realised I did capture the modest girl in my own pictures of the ride - and she was definitely topless! Maybe the others were too?)

Just missed out a bush picture for you on the last one, if none of the other contributer's caught them you'll have to wait for the screen grabs from the forthcoming video (assuming someone can do that and post them!).

The girl in the last picture is GORGEOUS, sorry I didn't get a better picture of her, she rode naked with 4 guys, arrived on the beach like that, didn't go swimming, and put her knickers on pretty quickly, but not before bending over right in front of me to gently place her bicycle on the ground. Man-oh-man!

Fizen, it was Portland where they had "nude night" at the museum last year, but I haven't heard if they did it again.

It seems a great marketing opportunity, not to be missed, for the museum.

It's all about everybody having a good time. I just love all the smiles and the enthusiasm for the camera from the girl on the left in the last picture. :)

I came back to this thread after being away for 8 hours and already, my posts are five pages back...

We did once have separate threads for American and UK (or european) rides. I don't mind so much as I do enjoy the pics from the UK immensely. But I lament the fact that many may simply not see my posts...

Anyway, sorry you couldn't make the ride. I know I would be pretty unhappy to have to miss something like this that only happens once a year..

A great day at Brighton yesterday, not many good photos taken, but I've not had time to go through them, as my camera battery was dead this morning, when I went to transfer them. Plenty of post to come though, I suspect.

I have not seen any pics of this very young trio:) posted, they were very chatty (and very pumped up, once they got their 'costumes' on!)and were happy to pose after me giving them some info on where the ride was going and how long it would take. I don't think they made it to the beach, but I may be wrong. Difficult to keep tabs on all the naked ladies.
