We still do not have any curtains in the bedroom and every morning the wife continues to come out of the shower and wander around completely naked, to the front of the house to open her closets, turn on lights in the closets but leaving the overhead light off, looks at her lingerie drawer, wanders back to the bathroom to dry here hair, back out for some more time pondering her closet, before eventually beginning to get dressed. This past weekend my wife and I went to the beach for a long weekend getaway. It was really too cold to do much outside but there were indoor and outdoor hot tubs, indoor pools, etc. so the places that had these were pretty full.

Agree with cufan: what do you want to happen? Reading these posts and casting my mind back I realised I have one experience and lots of second hand stories relating to this.

The majority of the hotels have heavy tint on the window for energy reasons (as well as decoration). We've stayed at several and have no problem leaving the curtains wide open.
