VLC can't play FLV files (I know, ridiculous).

You need FLV player:

Actually, VLC does play FLV files. I just played this last vid on it. Download the latest version, and drag/drop the file onto the VLC player and it should play.

It's interesting that several of these seem to have been shot on mobile phones. Interesting because while the ubiquity of this technology has allowed untolled thousands of moments to be captured that never would have been captured otherwise, the quality is just one step above absolute crap. So there's this weird curve that plots the expansion of the content along side the degredation of quality. For the time being, the tradeoff is certainly worth it (many thanks to the posters!) but in the future, when we have both ubiquity and quality, imagine what threads like this one will look like!:eek:
