I can't say I would want to revert back to the days of full on bush.... Not that there's anything wrong with it!

My Preference is to have a small landing strip or patch. Well trimmed at least.

My current GF has had hers Bald for the first 6 years but has now let it grow back in and it is pretty sparse even after a year. Not my preference, but obviously hers, so who am I to say.

Smooth has its perks, better for oral for example. But I love the feel of a thick, but trimmed bush.

Had an ex who was similar in the she kept the spread under control, but the hair that was left was all natural. It’s hot thinking she cares enough to keep it under control but likes it to run wild too!

My wife has a full bush which doesn't spread very far, but it won't fit in all bikini bottoms. The ones which are wider at the front usually cover everything, so in that case, no need to shave. The smaller ones usually require to do a little bit of shaving at the sides. In the past, it happened a few times that she did shave before swimming, so it wouldn't stick out of her bikini or bathing suit. It was during a time that she changed up her pubic hairstyle frequently anyway, and she tried everything from bare to bush. I also noticed that she wore thongs when she was bare or had a landing strip, but as soon as she had a bit more pubic hair, she wouldn't wear thongs.

One day I went with her to the store to buy a new bikini, and she tried multiple. She had a full bush at that time. In the end, only one fulfilled her requirements. She decided to buy the one which was wider at the front, so she wouldn't have to shave her pussy if she spontaneously decided to go out for a swim. While it was only allowed to fit the swimwear over the regular underwear, she told me she tried all of them without wearing underwear, as she had to see properly if they would cover her bush.

She keeps her pubic hair natural, but she cares enough about it so that others can't see her pubic hair.

I think that it has a lot to do with what you grew up exposed to.

I was born in the early 1960's and found my parent's Playboy stash in the very early 1970's.
(Yes, my mom enjoyed looking at Playboy too. She always wanted to be a Playboy model and she could have easily been.)

Of course back then the bushes were very full and would barely fit under the swimsuits and panties. That's what I grew up looking at and getting turned on by, so that's what I generally like seeing.

I also like the feeling of a full bush rubbing across my legs and other body parts. I like the smell of the bush when her pussy is very aroused.

With that being said, I don't like bushes that are just totally out of control. I also don't like hairy legs or armpits.

Don't get me wrong, I will take it anyway that I can get it. lol

As with different women looking better with different hairstyles on their head, different women look better sporting different bush styles or shaved.

Women that are younger tend to look better closely trimmed or shaved. Women that are older tend to look better (to me) with a full bush. Especially if they are heavyset.

But just like you said about that time period and the suits all the women wore on the Beach, they had some troubles covering Up those extra pubes that would come out when they didn't expect it to happen? lol

My mom was very open about wanting to pose for Playboy. She was proud of her looks and body. She always ate right and exercised. That was kind of rare in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
