I got the odd PM too.

Says. "Hello. Open the Message. I've got something for you."

Since I don't remember every asking for anything, I did a search on the "user" who sent it. Nothing.

I'm guessing it's some kind of trap for an old guy like me.

Deleting the message.

Yes, I've noticed I've got that problem when I tried sending one. Even when I clicked the "Reply" button from an old message and typed in my message, it just says "So and so have decided not to receive private messages, etc, etc." I did also receive spam messages last week, millin, but I never clicked on a link, just deleted the message.

As for gretschdrum81, I think it would be a shame to delete stuff you have taken the time to either upload on a thread or in albums. If the pace becomes too much at times, just take a break from it. I know it can be absorbing on here at times, but it's better than losing all your work for good. And if you are debating over an image, I recall 'Seal's advice to me when I first came: "If in doubt, leave it out." Fingers crossed though, the glitches will be sorted out soon.

PM Mailbox Limitations?
 

Use to have a retained / saved PM limit of 40 messages and when got close to that would reluectantly delete select older messages so that would be able to receive any new messages. Have often refered back to older messages when responding to PM's.

Yesterday logged in to discover the PM box was declared "100% full" with no new messages. Has the limit now been reduced to just two retained PM's - which is essentially useless to retain any, or really to receive any - or has something else happened?

The glitch reminded me of the golden rule. Data only existsif it is held in three separate places.

I have copied the contents of my albums to another site.

They seem to be popular there too.
