Neighbour was out with her kids on the swings this sunny Sunday for a couple of hours. I was pottering in the garden clothed - didn't want to push my luck - especially with her kids in view a lot.

When they went in, I did an hour and a half gardening in the buff. If she went to her upstairs window, she would have had a full view (kids too small to see over a window sill).

Another sunny afternoon here, so did some weeding and planting out some rhubarb from pots - in the buff - hour and a half in total.

Neighbour in next door, but not out with kids on swings.

Noticed half way through my work that she had opened her back bedroom window wide open. I was in clear view of this window for most of my work so she has clearly been able to see me at some time.

Packed in 5 minutes ago - clouding over & cool with no sun.

Chilli plants arrive mid next week !!

Went back out (clothed) an hour later to water in the plants I had bedded in. Her window still wide open - but this time with her lights on.

As I was walking back to put the hose back into the reel, she closed the window & waved. With that, I deduce I am not seeing any problems here (fingers crossed).

Things are looking up - I offered to show her the accounts software package I use for business on the computer - she is struggling to sort out her husbands year end figs. She wants to come round for a demo !

Hardly the move of someone who objects to the neighbour (me) who is in the garden in the buff on sunny days.

Just ask her if she minds you being naked in front of her. Ask her to join?

Barnyb - with all due respect, you have no idea what is being played out here - a muslim married lady, with a pre school age kid in tow & a husband who works from home ......... And you are saying what??

Just got my first bit of dialogue from my neighbour re my buff gardening.

Email saying she is concerned about her girls seeing me through the gap in the hedge - saying so far they haven't noticed.

Have assured her in my emailed reply there is no way I will intentionally allow this and to this end, I am putting a mulch & Growmore in the area so the hedge leafs up faster - which she can see if she looks. I take it from her 'concerns', she herself is not bothered or I think she would have added herself into the concern bit.

I have also advised her I am concerned about potential visitors seeing me from her back windows and asked her if she can warn me by email if she has any visitors like her mother or mother in law so I can avoid any offending behaviour from my side.

It will be interesting to see what her reaction is to the latter.

Says she really appreciates my approach and has agreed to warn me when they have visitors for me to avoid being exposed and viewable from windows and given me the first dates when she will be having mother in law and aunt there.

I read into this she herself may even like it !!............... as long as her kids don't get to see anything which is understandable.:)

Surprised no one has picked up what a score this has been in her reaction. She has accepted my being naked next door in full view of her (subject to her kids not being able to see what she sees (understandably)). Is happy to warn me of dates when visitors will be at their house so I don't upset anyone.

This is totally alien for a muslim females behaviour to accept a western male being totally naked in her view ( and often) with no fuss. Moreover, she is a professional person - a barrister no less.

I am gobsmacked personally I am getting away with this.
