Any chance this could please be re-upped to a file host for downloading? YouTube seems to have changed something on their end to make downloading of 1080p videos atrociously slow. Slow download speeds are consistent across multiple softwares and sites. Hopefully it's just a temporary problem and not the new normal.

parenthetically, what have you been using to dl bypassing yt age-restriction? I've gone w/9xbuddy, which only goes to 1080 and even lower for a bigger file - thanks!

Thanks, crispus. I mainly use the program WinX YouTube Downloader, mostly for 1080p and 480p videos. For 720p and 360p videos, I also use SaveFrom.net helper, which is a Tampermonkey browser extension userscript that puts a button underneath the YouTube video. When all else fails, I use the site loader.to. None of the above were working for 1080p videos last week, but I was just able to download one this morning with WinX, so maybe the problem has cleared up.
