Just a thought and my own opinion. Dear Mod Winston. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I do appreciate the effort you put into moderating OCC policy. And I am sure that it is quite the task. I sense your patience wearing very thin regarding repeat violations or just simple disregard or disrespect to the forums rules. And that perception is fair. Beyond the, probably necessary, maintenance and cleaning of this thread, the never ending taunt (the continual breaking of simple rules and guidelines to follow) is a direct affront to you and other mods. It also contours up a recent comment made by another, (can't remember the thread or name of member) but the gist of the comment was to examine the rules for absolute strict adherence or....modify/amend the rules to allow for altered photos. I do believe that to be a good exercise and one that hopefully supports those of us who endeavor to follow the guidelines. In this recent posting, your threat of "shutting down the thread", speaks directly to your exhaustion over the matter, and rightly so. However, as I sit pondering the just-fulness of it all, I'm left thinking that the habitual offender(s) should shoulder the consequence of violating the rules and perhaps receive a "time-out" or down right banishment of that user profile and account. I know that things in life are not fair, yet there are many of us who have never posted an altered picture so as to work around the rules. Just my two cents, or sense, which ever context you wish to apply.
