Maybe I am nuts...
My wife and I have been to three weddings this year, all very nice elegant church weddings. In two of the three, the bride's dress was partially see through. Yes, there was cleavage but below the waist, the material showed the darkness of skin and the contrast of white panties. At first, when I pointed it out to my wife, she said I was nuts and a perv, but as the day went on, she agreed that you could see underwear. In one instance, just the white bikini panties and in the other, you could see white small panties and her stockings. If you didn't stare, you could easily miss it but it was there. No they were not flashing anything or doing upskirts, but it got my attention. We didn't do that at our wedding way back when, but we could have!
