I have a question for anyone who is or has been a subscriber of Pimeyes:

When you're a subscriber of Pimeyes do you feel the results make the monthly fee worthwhile?

I've used the free option and I typically get hits, but when I search the pic on yandex I often don't find anything other than the original pic. Are the sites where the pics are found typically different sites from the usual aggregator sites like xham**** and mother****?

I had a subscription for 3 months and have just let it go.

You start off with the intention of discovering all sorts of hidden treasures, and occasionally you do discover something that the other conventional search sites do not have. However, far too frequently for my liking you find the same images that the other sites would have, and nothing more. I decided that the benefit of the rewards did not justify the cost for a regular subscription. If I do choose to use it again I may save up up number of images to search, take out a subscription for a month, and then ditch it again once I have completed my searches.

I have an account with prime eyes which is not bad. Has anyone used or used the deep search on there? Any good?

I agree with the above poster. What amazed me was finding the real identities of at least 30 classic amateurs from the last 20 years - women we all know and love. I was stunned how many women I found. As a facial recognition website, it's pretty powerful. But value for money it ain't. You can't even buy a monthly subscription and then cancel, giving you a whole month of access. They bar you immediately.

I have a sort-of related question. Is there a site or software that will compare two pictures and give a percentage of how likely the two pictures are the same person?

Without the real full identities some examples of the classic amateurs you mention would be good to see:D Maybe a new thread for these classics in one place? There's a few that always seem to crop up with date stamps of mid 2000s. Was always curious on whether they were genuine amateurs or photos taken with the intention of being uploaded somewhere.

I know that Pimeyes does that because it is facial recognition so I think it would most likely need to be a facial recognition search engine and right now I think Pimeyes is the only one. I may be wrong and maybe there are others out there that are available. I know sometimes I look for other clues in the pic to be sure it's the same person. Many times I've looked up a woman and she looks different in some pics because of the angle or maybe she changed hair color or something that throws you off so you aren't 100% sure it's the same woman.

The vast majority of models on Model Mayhem are what I'd call amateurs because they typically don't do any big time photo shoots and nobody could tell you who they are unless maybe they lived in the same town.
